@@briansfishtanks zero presently, have been out of it for past 3 years but currently shopping different places for tanks.. Would like to eventually get a MBU puffer tank and and either a fh, dovii, or pike for starters. Guess it all depends on how much the wife will tolerate lol Do have any pike? And you keep dovii currently don't you? Thought I remember seeing fry just not the parents..
@@briansfishtanks at the moment Jag's , Albino Blood Red Oscars , a few other random community tanks and a large stupidly aggressive Buttikoferi but i have 15x 5 foot tanks and 2x 8 footers waiting to go in to my new fishroom when i've finished the painting and wiring
love your videos but wish you would say al the tanks sizes. lol i know you do some and thats awesome. it is just so we can see what size to have them in..
Well, the fry hovering mid water towards the surface is something i have never seen because they are usually around the substrate area. Very interesting behaviour
New to your channel your fish look amazing will you be breeding the arowana and had another question how do you tell difference between a Midas and a red Devil not sure what I have love the videos thanks for any tips
the trimac fry behaviour is really interesting. it's probably wrong, but i do have a guess about what might be causing that. the trimac's mouth is slightly upturned compared to other amphilophus species and other central american cichlids in general for that matter. it makes me wonder if trimacs prefer feeding off the surface slightly more than their relatives? just a quick theory. like i say, i doubt it's right. but just sharing my thoughts! thanks as always for the update video--great to see the trimacs with their fry especially.

Where do you get the concrete tubes? Are they gutter pieces?
