Fun fact. For those not familiar with this location, close to 75% of Downtown Rochester MN (which is the buildings in the background) is home to Mayo Clinic, the world's top hospital organization. You could see Mayo Clinic's "Gonda Building" which is the white building on the far right.
Oh boy, Olmsted County...well to say the least they suck when it comes to testing on time, and I'd recommend going to the Oronoco 2001-SRN, close to the FD soon, you can get a cool shot.
That is correct. I’m not sure why the city chose to put this here rather than in downtown itself, but it gets the job done. The 2001-DC on top of RFS1 also covers most of downtown.
They have always gone a little late whenever I go to Rochester, I suspect it is because they need to wait until the county finishes their tone out since the city EOC activates them for the third Wednesday test rather than the OCSO. I am going to try and go to Rochester for every third Wednesday test this year, I have done all three so far (I did not get the third Wednesday of April on film since they tested about 25 minutes late).
Can someone record the DC by a hotel and shopping mall, I forgot the name of the hotel but when I find it ill edit the comment and put the name in it Hotel name: Apache hotel The DC is in front of it off the highway

Awesome video! The 2001-SNRB sounded very healthy!
I noticed the other 2001's sounded a minute after this one did
Great catch
Nice video, loving the shot with the building in the background
2001 srn's are very common in minnesota. Where i live, we have 3 of these throughout the town.
Always nice to see people record my local sirens :-)

Amazing video! Building shots are low key underrated imo.
This is the closest siren to where I live. The building in the background in the close up shots is the new Hilton hotel.

I live close to a tornado siren is it a federal signal 2001.
I was wondering if you were gonna make it here again today. I noticed that they were a bit late as well.

Is this an early gen srnb?
Yes it is.
i'd have tightened the tripod a little more, but 10/10 otherwise
I would have if it were not zoomed in all the way already, I was pretty far away. Wind is a dick.

Hotel name: Apache hotel

I will see if I can record that one next month.
