I don’t think AIFF or Fans can do anything for Indian football. Only footballer and his family can do by getting basic training on football leave this country work hard and become Star. I have a few ways football in India can be better 1. I believe India's government and AIFF should allow Indian Overseas talents to play for India. These top people and coach have stopped working hard, most of them (I don't want to name them) know they are the default option for Indian and they never put more work to develop. Let them fight for each spot with Overseas talent 2. We need better coaching staff and management (no more politics). 3. Leave SAFF & join ASEAN or CAFA. Even if we lose in initial years, it will be beneficial for the long run. 4. Mentality of our young players needs to be changed stop playing ISL (I know they get paid more here) but explore 3rd or 4th division in top 5 EU league or play for South American leagues or 2nd or 3rd division leagues in Japan, South Korea etc, explore, learn and adapt. 5. AIFF should establish more academies and focus more on state level leagues, I-league 3 & 2. Also have proper relegation/promotion system.
Agree We have no proper league formate. Last 30 years me 3 bar top league change hua hay. Pahale tha NFL, uske bad aya I league, uska 10 saal ka ander e ISL ko i league ke uppar jor dia.
