There's some thing about this that makes it almost like a warm hug,maybe it's the fact they have accepted death.
It's so strange how peaceful I fell wile watching this.

The echo effect makes me think of multiple people saying it so it's like an overlay, but multiple people are telling you not to fear the reaper, and chances are they had been taken by the reaper themselves, but now that they're dead they're telling people to not fear death

Honestly, even when I was younger, I've never feared death nor some guy who's title is a Reaper. Like if he looks scary asf, understandable but either way, death hasn't just been a big deal to me. Someone being told not to fear the reaper and accept death as it has come for them and to embrace it ( maybe a loved one from heaven)

Am I the only one who thinks of this song as a boy talking to his ex-girlfriend? In the beginning he says that their time is gone, like their relationship. When he says “we can be like they are” he means the perfect couples, but she is too scared to love him because of the pain that love brings. He is trying to convince her to go with him and he is telling her to stop fearing the pain it can bring.
When he says "we can be like they are" he's referring to the seasons, the wind, the Sun, and the rain. "Seasons don't fear the Reaper. Nor do the wind, the Sun, and the rain. We can be like they are," that is to say, we don't have to fear Death.
