INCREDIBLE WHALE SHARKS of Oslob, Philippines 2017 - Cebu Travel
Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 чер 2017
- In early 2017 in Oslob Cebu we went swimming with Whale Sharks! It was an unforgettable experience and crazy because the whale sharks are enormous, but surprisingly they're gentle giants.
This is a collab we did with VIVA Lifestyle & Travel, our raw whale shark footage from Oslob the Philippines edited by them: / vivalifestyleandtravel
We understand that this is not the best way to experience the whale sharks and there is come controversy around the way it is done in Oslob / Cebu. We mean no disrespect or offence to anyone who does not agree with us taking this opportunity.

I don't know if Oslob is the same place to find the giant turtles in the Phil? I forget, I should know this. :-)
+EscapeThink Not that we know of, but if it is I might cry that we didn't know and could have missed it haha
Ooops it's actually Apo Island, had to look it up on my bucket list on google keep. :-) No worries, I'm sure you two will get there.
Yes! I remember now, that's accessed off Dumaguete. Sadly we had 1 day and had to decide between Apo and Manjuyod Sandbar and we went with the sandbar. Would have loved to see the turtles though... next time.
Yeay! Most def. something to look forward to!
You can also swim with sea turtle in Moalboal, Cebu where you can swim with the huge school of sardines as well called sardines run. It is much more accessible than Apo Island as you don't need to ride a bus, a boat and bus again and boat again. From Oslob, simply take a bus ride to Moalboal and get there in 1.5 hours.
I wanted to dive and swim with this huge whale.
+jazper go it was a magical experience, so fortunate to have done it :) Maybe one day you will get to as well.
It's a shark. A fish, not a mammal.
Is it safe to go to Philippines now?
Keeping in the north is wise, so places like Palawan are perfectly fine. A lot of the unrest is in the south, which isn't typically a tourist spot anyway :)
Marc Ang just don't go in south western part of ph.. sulo, tawi tawi and ARMM province are not meant for tourists.. all the other part of southern ph are very safe.. specialy Davao the safest city in ph..
Thinking of Cebu Bohol and Elnido.. r they ok??
Marc Ang both both places u mention are located in central ph.. it's very safe.. central ph are the tourist spot in ph.. u can go directly to central ph(visayas) there's a international air port in iloilo city.. it's near in boracay, el nido, Puerto prinsisa and bohol.. popular tourist spot for Asian.. if u like western type of adventure.. western ppl always go to cebu, tagaytay and siargao.. is popular for diving and surfing.. just go to department of tourism website of ph.. so that u can have a great tour..
+Marc Ang Yeah they're all fine. We went to Cebu and El Nido, loads of people go to Bohol as well!
Too bad they discriminate against foreigners there charging twice as much as filippinos to see the sharks. Its more fun in the Philippines ........😂
That's why I travel with Filipinos!
