Lee Willey Singing 'Man I Love' is a gem. I'm 57, probably too young to remember the organ bar nights and regulars at restaurants, but I remember enough. I was musical from about age 3 and we had a Hammond L112 from when I was 10. I played guitar 20 years before getting the organ bug after ending up with a 60's Lowrey Berkshire. Another thing that happened around that time in the mid 1990's was that I had a great organist right in my home town, Columbus, Ohio. Hammond organist Tony Monaco was a regular at Dick's Den on North High & Blake Avenue here in Columbus, just blocks from the Ohio State University. I worked next to Dick's Den so I would go over when I heard him. He played every week the same day of the week, Wednesday iirc. He just tore it up! Tony and a drummer with a small kit, and sometimes with guitar as well. It was a great time. In the mid 90's you could get a Hammond M3 all day long for free to $200. What am I saying, you still can. I got a pristine pecan finish M3 with add-on Electotone Presets is 2011 for seventy-five clams. So the fact that you can get a professional instrument for very little financial outlay helps to encourage playing and seeking out a good Leslie. My first Leslie was a '59 Leslie 122. A beautiful dark stained finished walnut cabinet. My buddy and I went together on it. He got the Hammond C2 for like 300 and I got the Leslie 122 for 200. The man had a Hammond HR40 tone cabinet for a hundred, but I was a newbie and didn't know how incredible sounding an HR40 was. I scored one 10yrs ago and I'm never letting it go.
Always liked organ; evocative of old shopping background music & a warm feel✔️
😊YES RETRO HAMMOND NOSTALGIA THANK'S ORGAN JUKEBOX!

Very!
Not bad. There are European organists with a bit of soul. They're rare, but do exist.
What! 😅
