great demo of a great machine!! real workhorse delay/pitchshifter for what it is, and this demo shows basically everything it excels at + the recording quality is great I'm about to ramble about this machine now which could be boring, warning... one of my fave things to do with it was always to mess with the "KEYBOARD CONTROL" jack on the back where you can plug any audiosource in to control the pitch. due to its old dodgy pitch detection circuitry, it could really mangle the living daylights out of whatever you put into it, and by running a bassy sinewave into it you could coax the pitch down far lower than the pitch knob actually goes! but you could also do fun things like run a drumloop into the PITCH CONTROL jack and get some sloppy mess of disgruntled bits. great stuff. the HOLD jack is also great fun. I used to love making loops out of vinyl by backcueing, then pressing a sustain pedal plugged into the HOLD jack to store a bit in the delay buffer and keep varying the loop up over time. you could probably plug a drum machine into that HOLD jack too though I only tried once or twice. the HOLD sounds different on every selectable RANGE/MODE so it can give unpredictable and fun results anyways thanks for making this video, it's prob one of the best demos online right now for this underrated piece of tech. praise be to BOSS half racks🙏!
the pitch control marked "FINE" (rightmost blue knob) adjusts the delay time control when in delay mode―so it's only a pitch shift control half the time, and a delay time adjustment control the other half of the time. the control marked "COARSE," however, does have no effect in delay mode. hope this is useful :)

Great!
Why are you constantly adjusting the pitch shift controls when you're not in pitch shifting mode?
