The Shelly Flood is not water-resistant, and if the water level covers the device, we cannot guarantee the state of the device after that. The device is designed to detect leaks. When water flows under the device, it will notify you, allowing you to prevent a flood. However, the device is not intended to function underwater. Hi Roberto, great video. Maybe you can tell us if the shelly flood could be used as a remote swimming pool water thermometer? Just leave it floating, turn of the alarms, and keep it as a pool thermometer with WiFi?

Doesn't seem too sensitive though, the question is would it detect small leakages?
