It looks like with 11.0.5 there have been changes to KT and Sylvanas. For KT, a ghost dog called Arfus is in the fight with you to aggro the adds so you can go downstairs. The downstairs mob wasnt visible for me though, I just jumped around for a few seconds and got ported out? then the fight carried on, so I just nuked KT and repeated that until he died. For Sylvanas, her chains no longer drag you in the first phase.
WTF ilv 553 arcane mage can melt down Soulrender Dormanzain like that???? My ilv 570 ret pally best try was 20% hp... Fuk me, im going to reroll to mage.
You can solo Kel Thuzad without pet if u manage to quickly oneshot the soul. I did it with my DH using enhanced Eye Beam (after using metamorphosis with a talent enhancing Eye Beam) at ilvl 603. I know DH is know for having a huge burst but i am advicing you is to cast ur burst while entering the phylactery and u may have chances to OS the soul.
This is amazing to know and what I can create next for my warband. As for right now I work on 2 Characters to raid and run mythics. The other 2 are just for farming mats.
Now it is very weird but it should fail more often than not really I did it on my DK during dragonflight, with deaths advanced you have immunity to push back But in reality what made it possible is that you don't always get pulled the thing can miss
Can you only solo KT with a pet of some sort cause whenever i entered the phalactery it resets the fight im also playing a pally so if so then i know to level a different class
yeah, i did it on normal with warrior and the brewmaster trinket that spawns a brew maiden, but took some tries. its a dumb mechanic that should be changed
KT can only be soloed by classes who has pets that aggro atm sadly. Just tried to solo him yesterday night with a monk and he constantly disappeared when I went in the flask to kill the soul. I even tried BM talent with the taunter statue but it didn't work. :/
Yeah its so dumb. But worry not! Remember Eonar from Antorus? A good while but still after Antorus became a Legacy Raid, Blizzard patched something in to make her easier for solo players. We'll just have to wait for it to happen for Shadowlands and BFA, considering those are now Legacy Raids
So I managed it this week. Such a strange one. Touch of the magi had been doing low damage so bosses were a struggle. Then suddenly it worked and they died so fast. To avoid the banshees I killed the first 3 and it helped lots.
I've done this the last 2 weeks fine, it felt like Touch of the magi was doing insane amounts of damage in legacy content. I've just started today and it feels like it's been fixed unless it's a talent I had on at the time.. anyone know?
Same, noticed this just now. Every single boss was a struggle to take down because the as Touch of the Magi ends the big burst is not happening - And I now have so much more ilvl than I had last week.
if you go BM and use dire beast talent you can summon it before going down and then you have 12 seconds (duration of dire beast) to bring downstairs kelthuzad down

Kinda tricky, you need to kill kel first, then wait add swpans, miror image, go down, kill the hearth, then go up and kill kel, I highly recommand you to use magi's touch only in the last phase because taken dmgs are ridiculous, if you cant one shot the image then use magi's touch there and try to survive to next one
After killing the downstairs soul I get oneshot by the banshee AoE the second I am teleported back up they do like 5 million unavoidable dps chaincasting 400k bolts?

use direbeast before you go inside, you need to leave a pet or something behind for him not to despawn. you have the length of the direbeast ability to kill the thing inside, if the direbeast runs out and you're still inside, the boss well despawn. there is a talent that increases the direbeast ability by 2 seconds, I recommend using it, It makes it easier.
@@reckful7402 you have to use the dire beast on the adds before you go inside of the boss. You have 8 sec with the talent to burn the add inside and get out. You might be using direbeast inside.

Old rates are bugged for some fucking reason When I did Taragrue on my DK during dragonflight my dot blood thingy was doing millions of damage And the eye of the jailer pull thingy missed most of the time In BFa raids for instance, use a hunter with Beast cleave , for some reason, secondary targets take like 1000% more damage and goes from 70k spread to like 400k, 1.1M per hit, some fkin weird numbers I bet there's some weird bug with Magi too
There is some weird interaction with some abilities I have to say For instance I was able to solo tarragrue during dragonflight bc the blood plague for some reason did millions of damage... Some dots or aoe randomly does a shit ton of dmg Problem with SL raids is how most have one boss That completely stops any progress, like Sunking or Hungering for nathria, Kelthuzad, Dormazain or Tarragrue for Sanctum or Xymox and tetra walker or Jailer (domination kills Azeroth before time)
Hearing SL/maw sound effects gives me PTSD.

i used divine steed and pulled the add from the sky and killed it, afterwards it never came back

On Kel'T, as soon as I come out of the Phylactery, the Banshees just wipe me out. No chance to kill them or anything

I'm guessing most people gave up after shadowlands, after bfa SL must've been the last straw, I can see it even in TWW, feels like a desert.

Kel Thuzad resets you must have 1 person with you and another who enters the portal phase.
