It is a good start because A) if you did not played the previous ones you are not missing much of the story because the deeds of the characters in the previous parts are mentioned, as they are history and B) if you have played you can appreciate it more... ;) Also this part incites the lust for more Langrisser.... ;)

I think the same. The armor is more like a tight body suit, that's why he looks slender.

But the assault armor is implied to be futuristic by its description. However, if you talk about a regular heavy armor, you're correct.

There's parts of this that feel quiet compared to the original, which weakens the impact of the song, otherwise I might prefer this over the original.
