- Here's another video of Ed, Edd, n Eddy funny moments, but it's focused on Jonny and Plank. In some episodes of the show, Jonny rarely to occasionally says "Plank says" followed by something else. I counted 33 times total. If anyone has heard Jonny say it, but it's not in this video, indicate it in the comments.

@@j04370859 Idk. He knows how the Eds are and how their scams usually end in some type of damages (mostly because of Ed). He may have not seen it, but with Eddy's nervous body language and tone he was probably able to deduce what happened. I still think Plank is an object that Johnny projects his thoughts through.
Johnny is so relatable. Plank reminds me of when I had an aqua towel as a friend and carried it around every where and it's name was Aqua Towel. That and a sock puppet I named Pop Sucket. Both back in the 90's. I was 17 years old. Ahhh... memories.

When I was little, I made my own Plank out of a wooden board and doodled his face with a Sharpie! Memories💖
I still have him as one of my emblems when I used to play Call of Duty.

There's been plenty of characters talking to inanimate objects in cartoons, but with Plank, I feel like what makes him different is that the other characters actually treat Plank as if he's actually alive, and Jonny doesn't treat Plank like his comfort toy, he treats him as his best friend, to the point that even he and Jonny have falling outs. What I'm trying to say is, Plank is treated as a character, not an object.
I treat my orange HOODIE as a friend,I keep it in my bed and I have one sided conversations with it.

Here's a thought. What if Plank represents Jonny's dark side. Whenever Jonny wants to say or do something dodgy, he shifts blame from himself by saying, "Plank says..."
I’m on the side that believes Plank is alive, but that’d be a clever nuance on the writers’ parts
I believe that Plank is Jonny's common sense. Not to mention a sort of chaotic neutral. Jonny has Plank not taking sides of anything, but placed right in the middle of everything that'll happen to Jonny or the Eds (particularly Eddy). And we'll all get a laugh out of the humor on how much level of chaos is endored on the Eds (mostly Eddy) or others. I don't know 😄
