Happy Blessed Birthday, Mr. Saltbox Stitcher, who is Jack Benny 39, he is adorable. I think your hair is beautiful, perfect cut for you. Its always a pleasure to see all your works in progress and your finished stitching.
Once again, I love love love all of your beautiful stitched work-u are as always so talented and very 😄 funny 😆- love you so much and admire you - stitch on my sister woman, stitch on❣️
Hello Carol and Professor/Editor, this was great fun, with all your new starts, plans and decor. Miss Jane Atkinson is breathtaking-it won’t be much longer before her finish. Enjoy your upcoming retreat. Love you…!
Thank you for another wonderful flosstube. Mr. Saltbox has once again exceeded his previous super editing, and now he is participating more in the video as your helper. He's a keeper!
Loved seeing all the autumn/fall stitching. Now I have a whole list added to my already long "to do" stitching list. Love your fall vignette. Thank you so much for sharing. Happy Belated Birthday to Mr. Saltbox! Wishing you wonderful Sunday.
Thanks for another enlightening video. Loved all the laughs! Happy belated birthday to Mr. Saltbox! Love that Jane Atkinson. The colors in that border are fabulous. Love ya!
What a fun video. I love to collect fall patterns. I have WAY more collected than stitched, That’s for sure! You kept me company in the car on a long drive to the middle of nowhere AZ to show houses. Thank you 😊
Jane Atkinson is absolutely stunning! I enjoyed the parade of finishes, pumpkins, and projects to do. Your assistant did a nice job handing you items and taking the hand offs without a hitch!
Love you and Professor Saltbox’s interactions. You both make me smile and chuckle. My cell phone let me down and didn’t tell me your flosstube was posted. On the bright side when I sat down to watch flosstubes this Sunday my tablet gave me the wonderful surprise that you had a new flosstube waiting for me to view! Enjoy our get togethers. Love your work. So happy to hear that you’re going to frame a couple yourself. I just finished my last three that I have frames for yesterday and got them up on the wall. I’m ever so happy I found Kitten Stitchers video teaching us how to do the framing. Never did I ever think I’d be framing my own stitching. Now I can enjoy them up on my walls. Hope the Professor is enjoying his birthday family party today. It’s nice his birthday is being celebrated more than just one day.
Thanks. Soooo I have a question since you do your own framing. I ordered 3 frames from Hob Lob. I took my pieces and let them measure as I was planning to lace them myself. And after getting them, I realized they are too small. So my question is … what measurement do you give them when you order a frame, the opening size or the total size (foam core size)? Obviously this was their error because they measured but I’m curious because I would like to order some online and I want to get it right. Hope that makes sense. This is confusing to me as the lip on the inside can vary right?
@@saltboxstitcher the lingo framing uses is a learning curve just like anything I guess. I had such trouble with trying to figure out what in the world dimensions I needed I wrote to the company. The short of it is that the demensions you use is what you want to see. For instance if your stitching area of the sampler is 10x10 inches, because I like it framed tight, I order an 11x11 inch frame. I just add an extra inch so I have a half inch of linen on all sides of the sampler. So figure out how tight you want your sampler in the frame. I keep my math easy. Hubs likes it less right and on one order I added an inch and a half extra and the math broke my brain because I was working with 8th of inches on my sampler. Finding half of 8ths was just too much for me and since I'm doing the framing I decided he's just going to have to live with a tighter framed piece. I use Custom Frames Solutions (thinking that's the name as I'm not home to check.) I was worried about picking out frames I couldn't see in person but have been pleasantly surprised with all most all the 17 frames I've ordered. They usually come in better than I hoped. Oh, try to hit their sales. I try to hold out for the 40% off! Hope that helps.
Reread your note. Order the opening size you want. The company I order from takes into consideration whatever that lip is. It's the opening size they need.
@@maryellenmcinnis7693 thank you so much. I took the wrong ones back to Hob Lob this morning and they handled it well. Reordered and no extra charge since the new frames are larger. I appreciate you taking the time to help me with the lingo. Thanks again.
Another great video, as usual. Your stitching and finishing is so beautiful. I love everything you stitch. It amazes me how much you get done. Take care - hope to see you soon
Sweet Carol, So good to see you again...I always have Hiiigh Hopes of your next video!!! Happy Birthday to Mr. Saltbox; I hope you have a wonderful celebration with your family this weekend. Your Fall stitching is beautiful and makes me want to pull out every Fall chart I have and get started! Always!!! Either too short or too long. Or too stubborn to behave. I had a lot less trouble with it when I was young and it was waist length, then it was either bun, ponytail or down my back. Lol
You scared me for a brief moment on the video number. I knew you had reached 100 then asked your husband how old he was on his last birthday! 😂😂😂 Always love seeing all of your stitching!!!
Happy birthday to your husband. I always enjoy your videos. Thank you for taking the time to make them and to your husband for his editing support. Happy stitching

I so enjoy your videos, although I don't usually comment. Now that we are out of triple digits here in Texas I am inspired to do more stitching and your video is very timely and inspiring. Thanks so much for everything you share.
Hi Carol. I'm new to your channel and just wanted to let you know how much i enjoyed it. Looking at your walls of stitching makes me think if I would have stuck with it all those years ago I might have as much as you do. However, I gave up stitching back then and have only recently returned to it. I love how far everything has come and the community of cross stitchers is unbelievable. Thank you for sharing all your work. You are truly impressive with all the mediums you do. Take care, Pat Tackaberry

Hi Carol. My wish list of Halloween patterns after watching this episode has grown unbelievably long, lolol. Thanks for showing all of your beautiful stitching and Happy Birthday to your hubby:) Happy Stitching!
Hi Carol. Another fun time with you and the professor. Happy belated birthday to him. Everything was beautiful the stitchings and your fall decor. I know all your "High Hopes " for your WIPs will come true. I have tremendous faith in you and your talents. The only trouble is, just not enough hours in the day. You are one busy gal. Quilting and stitching, I'm sure you never sit a moment and just twiddle your thumbs so to speak. Thankyou for all the hard work it takes for you and the professor to get these videos ready to air. It is much appreciated !! Until next time, ❤ ya!!, and hope that one day our paths will meet, Donna
As always a lovely visit. Can’t wait to be getting back to my stitching once the radiation level done a bit more. Your pieces are beautiful. Love your quilt in the background too. Blessings and happy stitching.
Happy Birthday Mr. Saltbox!!! Love all your Halloween pieces, Carol! The display behind you is gorgeous!! You are such and inspiration (and enabler)! Thanks as always for the joy of visiting with you! Happy stitching!
Your videos are always entertaining, Carol, but today you were hilarious. You and your husband are a hoot. I am so impressed that he evidently is in the room while you're recording and it doesn't distract you. I'm also impressed, of course, with your stitching. Love it - love your optimism! Thanks for the video.
Carol, that Jane Atkinson is just so beautiful! I keep getting Raven Bewitched by BBD out and putting it back because it looks dull, but now that you have shown the threads, I am going to get it back out, buy the dmc threads and give it a start. I too have "the disease". I can remember when I used to buy a kit, stitch it to the end and then start something new. How the heck did we do it. I need to HAVE and STITCH all the things!!!I just can't stitch fast enough and I am of an age that I will never stitch everything I want to...I am 70...oh and I still work full-time! Shame on me!!!!!
It is crazy how I have so many things going and I used to have multiples ready but only concentrated on one at a time. Maybe I get bored more nowadays. I blame the fast pace of technology. Lol
As always,I really enjoyed seeing all of your stitching. You have so many that I have acquired and hope to stitch. It was very fun seeing all of your seasonal pieces.🎃🦃🐿🐈⬛🍂
So head to see you again. So many beautiful projects, but I have to say, Jane Atkinson is above and beyond beautiful, striking, mesmerizing. I dont think I would ever stitch it( and I do a lot of big projects) but I love seeing it. Take care. Belated happy birthday to hubby.
Oh, Carol! Once again I was laughing while watching! Totally get the whole hair thing, but since mine is mostly white you can't see it on the bathroom floor, but alot shows up on my black or navy or all dark tops! 😮 I am almost finished with Turkey Hollow Farm! It IS NOT perfect, but I really like it. Several others you shared I have done or kitted so you know I love your prospects!
Carol your stitching never ceases to inspire me. I am crazy for fall and Halloween stitching, so this episode was a delight. Happy birthday to Mr. Anatomy Professor 😉
Happy Birthday to Mr. Salt box🎉. I sure appreciate all the work he puts into your videos. Y’all make a great team. Thanks for sharing it was fabulous 😊
Love your channel. I recently came back to stitching after a 27 year pause (when my daughter was born). Someone told me be about Floss Tube. When I accessed it for the first time, yours came up. Samplers are and will always be my passion to stitch. I watched some of your first videos and was so excited to hear you talk about The Salt Box Sampler (Overland Park, KS?) and Old Mill Stitchery (Liberty, MO). I shopped there many times (late 1980’s/early 90’s) being from Missouri (live in NC now). Keep doing what you do…so inspiring!
Happy belated birthday to your kind husband...thanks for sharing all the beautiful patterns and stitching...wishing you both "High Hopes"❤❤

It is much appreciated !! Until next time, ❤ ya!!, and hope that one day our paths will meet, Donna
Thanks so much and yes I do twiddle my thumbs occasionally!!!🤪
Happy birthday, Professor! Good job on your math! Carol, as always, I loved seeing what you've stitched. You're very enabling though.
Thank you so much! I get enabled watching Flosstube too!!!
As always a lovely visit. Can’t wait to be getting back to my stitching once the radiation level done a bit more. Your pieces are beautiful. Love your quilt in the background too. Blessings and happy stitching.
Thanks so much and prayers for you!!!❤️
I am a shame too because I have all the hello too! I thought I was only one!
Loved seeing all your beautiful finishes. I have high hopes to get some completed projects
You can do it! 😬
Happy Birthday Mr. Saltbox!!! Love all your Halloween pieces, Carol! The display behind you is gorgeous!! You are such and inspiration (and enabler)! Thanks as always for the joy of visiting with you! Happy stitching!
Thank you so much!
I love going back to the beginning seasons and watching again. Like I just watched number 30. Lots of inspiration in the oldies too
Thanks!!!
Thank you so much!
Happy Belated Birthday to Mr. Saltbox. Hope you get your hat!!! Fun exchange. As always Beautiful stitched pieces and wips!!
Thank you so much!
Lol
Happy birthday 🎂 Mr Professor Saltbox! Wishing you many more!
Thank you kindly!
Gefeliciflapstaart Mr. Saltbox🎉🎉
Thank you!
Loved this video. Mr. Saltbox cracks me up--39? lol and your daughter is 37! Happy stitching.
He fibs!!!
Great episode. Here in Indiana it's quite cold.
As always,I really enjoyed seeing all of your stitching. You have so many that I have acquired and hope to stitch. It was very fun seeing all of your seasonal pieces.🎃🦃🐿🐈⬛🍂
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Oh I’m jealous, I love Turkey Holliw Farm!!! Hopefully I can get it started soon!!
Carol your stitching never ceases to inspire me. I am crazy for fall and Halloween stitching, so this episode was a delight. Happy birthday to Mr. Anatomy Professor 😉

Those 2 stores were just the best!!! Good memories!!! Thanks for watching!!!
