I’m seeing a lot of comments about the music being too loud. I work in film and here’s a history lesson for those in the comment section that don’t understand why this happens: This is actually common, and historically speaking, the standard has been: music at full volume (or as close to 0 decibels as it can without clipping), and voiceover sections will be at around -12 to -18. But these standards are outdated; originally, they were set for films you watch in theaters, where the music is there to add emphasis and vocals alone are quieter to make you really pay attention to the important dialogue. My guess is that the editor read somewhere that this is the standard and went with that. Which is fine, it’s what we’re taught to do in film school.
Yeah, but it was really an oversight on my part. I have a usual set of audio settings in a template project that I use, but in this one I created the project from scratch rather than using the template. Usually I have some audio ducking, compression and levels set for the background audio, but when I checked it wasn't applied to this one.
From dad to dad, don't worry it will get better :) You'll never have the time you had before, but that's ok. You'll find a good balance. Glad to see you back!
For sure, it's exactly what I'm kind of struggling with now. At 2 months, I'm lucky to find ant time to play and edit. Still want to try to do as much as possible though. Wifey is supportive
Yeah, I decided not to because there is only one required Hiker up north and then. we can get Dig which is more than enough for Rock types. There wasn't really a situation where Bubblebeam is really needed, so in keeping with the Minal battles, minimal TMs nature of my runs, ai just felt it was an easy skip.
Anyone who gives you flak about being absorbed with your *actual child* can go pound sand until they have -6 Accuracy. No need for apologies, you work at whatever pace works best for you while you level the kid, because you definitely don't want to go minimum battles on that one.
Very excited spotting you’d released a new video! Thought id share this with you, I’ve been doing “super minimum battles” on fire red after seeing it on your channel so wanted to say thanks as it’s been a lot of fun seeing how many Pokemon are actually capable of skipping so many battles with how much they dominate kanto!

The legend is back! It's been too long without your cool solo runs.😊 Mew on minimum battles is kind like Mewtwo,by the time it gets by the Brock wall. The developers gave Mew a kind of unique moveset, with mosly normal moves, it makes me wonder if in the early stages of development Mew was intended to a legendary normal type 🤔. Maybe at some you should test it, whenever you have time. You sound happy and tired at the same time, but that's the path to be an s tier dad.😂😂😂 Keep it up! By the way, I wish I could help you out with editing, but I don't think that my skills would be of much help.😊
In the early stages of development, Mew didn't exist! Mew was snuck into some extra rom space that opened up after debugging tools were removed, and only one guy knew it existed until the game released.
Hey, welcome back, and congratulations on becoming a dad! It'll be stressful at first, but you'll find a balance. Anyway, this was a surprising run. Mew is extremely versatile, but anything that doesn't start with a special move always has trouble with Brock. I wonder how much time it would save to Brock-skip for Water Gun instead of adding in those extra battles...
Hey awesome to see a new video from you! I think when you were fighting Blaine the first time and his Arcanine was putting up reflects, couldn't you have busted Psychics at that point to beat it?
Personally I think you might give the slow bro (the one who edited the arcanine video) another chance. If it lifts a weight from your shoulder I think most people (me included) don't mind waiting a month or so.
3:45 "maybe I made a strategy mistake when I was testing..." What strategy mistake you could've possibly made with a pound only Mew? Did you press A with the wrong finger? Edit: fixed the quote.
At Blane: hat tip (HT) on the TM 28 "Tombstoner" reference. Also, looks like your overlay lost the 3 (or was it 4) optional battles before Blane. All things considered, without Brock (or with a Brock skip of some kind), looks like this guy could be minimum battles (watch this statement age poorly when The Champion shows up or Lance or Agatha...)
@@RBYPokemonChallenges ironically a good neutral move against Brock's pokemon (and certainly dig) would probably have actually done so. Though, with TMs is not this run (you've done that already a couple of times with Mew :) )
Skipping rest isn't as bad for this run in particular, since mew can learn softboiled- it doesnt require any extra battles either. Body slam is a good move, but mew's movepool is so large that it is largely unnecessary- you are better off loading up on moves that can do supereffective damage against specific opponents, like earthquake or t bolt
There are no gen 1 Jynx videos! I found out that if you start with water gun, you can beat the game on minimal battles. Now, is it possible with 0 DVs...?
I just finished a jolteon run in yellow. I reached the level 73 to beat Giovanni and 88 to beat the league. If you can do better, I would be curious to see.
@@RBYPokemonChallenges I hate to use mimic so I did not. It would cost so much in your ranking. Only 5 resets before the league (one on Erika and 4 on Giovanni). I ended with agility, thunder, pin missiles and double kick.
Despite that Mew CAN learn EVERY move in EVERY Pokemon game to date its STATS for Attack/special kind of SUCK where as Mewtwo is Over powered and easily done.
Because the powers are the same in Gen 1, so while replacing with Earthquake would make a marginal improvement in time, it would be an additional TM which I tend to avoid.
@@RBYPokemonChallengesthat does make sense. I know some people prefer on cutting time by getting rid of the two turn move. But your metric is different for your ranking, which is something I really enjoy! Having the different things have different point values is really refreshing!
Fair comment. This was a while back, so you'll likely notice there haven't been any AI thumbnails in a minute. I really hope that someday I can afford to pay an actual thumbnail artist for my channel. If you know anyone solid, let me know!
Volume kind of sucks for the pre-battle scenes with headphones. Should be a little quieter.
Apologies, will get it fixed.
@@RBYPokemonChallenges No worries! Keep uploading and good luck with the kid!
I was about to type this haha!
The voice audio is too low compared to the battle scene audio.
Besides that, great video!❤
Is it bad that I like it? Granted I’m pretty sure most people aren’t watching this with a loud toddler in the background. 😂
@@RBYPokemonChallenges Something was also up with the music for Lt. Surge and Erika, it sounded like they were missing some of the instrumentation.

congrats on being a new father! Make sure to enjoy the time with your family, it is precious
Absolutely! My son is awesome, he's just starting to smile and babble for us at 2 months. I wish I could pause time at this stage for a while 😂
Your channel is criminally underappreciated. Love these videos!
Was listening to this to wake up this morning. Then the Brock intro music kicked in and I was suddenly VERY MUCH AWAKE. 😱
Sorry, fixed in the next video. Willl need to re-up this one.
I had the exact same reaction haha, that made me laugh so hard
When the world needed him most the RBYPOKEMONCHALLENGES returned!
Now if we can somehow get that lazy bum GSCPOKEMONCHALLENGES to come back, we be golden.
Thanks Andrew, sorry for the long wait! Yeahz if that bum would stop using his baby as an excuse, we could have new videos....
After hitting level 20 vs rival, you should've gone to Misty right away. Bubblebeam makes nugget bridge and especially the hikers go way quicker.

Yeah, sorry about that. It was a issue in this project file. I will get it fixed and re-upped. Subsequent videos are already fixed.

Cerulean Cave have 2 Rare Candies in Yellow Version in case you struggle against Mewtwo.
TM 28 Tombstoner effect lets you automatically win the entire battle at the cost the pokemon who uses it faints.
Un less your pokemon it Ghost-type, then it just wins.
Time to start teaching the baby Premier Pro.
I'd teach him DaVinci Resolve because we're pinching pennnies over here lol
