MY GOD THAT WAS A PERFECT SOLUTION. I keep getting my bear hair ripped out strand by strand at work and wanted a better way to tie it. I usually braided it then folded it, but it looked stupid and i wanted to shorten it and make it nice so i can work. Also it was simple, perfect. Thanks!

    • @GraveBeforeShave

It can be done without the rubber band as well... just seems to hold better with the use of a rubber band

Almost exactly what I used to do years back when I grew out my beard for 5 years and it reached my waist. Except I used a few hairbands (the cloth ones) on it instead of knotting itself with itself. I'd also stick two bobby pins in there, one on each side, because otherwise the bun would fall out. It usually held pretty well for much of the day if I didn't bump it around too much. Sometimes I miss having that beard. Starting to regrow it now, but not sure if I'll go at it for that long again.

They almost begged me to shave my beard off it's almost to the middle of my chest down to my belly button

That oil use? Is enormous!! Khan it recommend to me brands of oil that work these sizes and that they bandage on-line to the entire world? Already I begin to have the big beard, dwells or less the half that you, and them of 30ml they do not last by not means.. It is possible that he has spoken about it in the video, but I do not speak Englishman and am using a translator. Forgive if there is algun orthographic mistake or some senseless phrase.

I did this for several years and I think it caused me mild yeast infection on my chin. I'd keep it up for weeks at a time and then might only let it hang in full for a few hours before retying it. That little bun absorbs sweat and shower water so it can take ages to dry out, and with it being right up against the skin I think it caused my problem.
I'm currently dealing with the same problem somewhere else and my chin skin responded quickly to the medication. I now let my beard hang out, and one benefit is that the skin can dry now.

Did you use biotin? I ask because I got lazy at the two yr mark and quit for awhile. During that time I shed so badly,( and it seemed to quit growing) I really should cut it way back. Once I started using again, I stopped shedding, so I'm a believer.

Cool beard, beard bro. My only problem with it is that beard buns look like they also have beard butt holes from the look of it. I usually just braid mine or stuff it in my shirt or both to get it out of the way. Your method looks like it is probably less itchy on the chest, though. I might have to try it. I'm still not going to get hired anywhere, though. My beard is somewhat visible in my UA-cam videos of you want to see it.

Isn’t taking the knot out difficult?

    • @-Vitalis-
      @-Vitalis- Рік тому

I don't have his massively long beard, but I got enough to make a knot like in the video. Actually, it's quite easy: either you use more oil and stick your little finger there and slightly push... or carefully use a tool (e.g. metallic bead tool or the end of a thin brush) and work your way in order to loosen it.
I'd say curly beards have that advantage, compared to the more straight ones (which are weird in the western world, anyway): tying/untying knots is relatively faster. The curls create natural spaces that prevent too much presure around the knot area.
