Thanks Alan, even if the brazing had gone well, I don't think I would be happy with it. I think the best thing was to get it professionally done. Still waiting for it back, hopefully next week. Take care, Jeff
Thanks for watching, still waiting for the frame to come back, he said 2 weeks and it's now four. I know he is very busy though. Hopefully I will get the tank back this week.. Take care, Jeff
Thanks Phil, had a couple of annoying problems, but hopefully the tank will be the last. In the end I think it was best to get it professionally repaired than muddling on with it. Still waiting for the frame to come back, but the weather looks cold next week, so painting may have to wait. Take care, Jeff
Hello Jeff i am just catching up on your videos just watched part three and now part four really lovely little bike no doubt you will make it look real nice as always take care.
Thank you so much Tony. Next Saturdays video is half done, the frame is painted and some front suspension parts, so will finish off tomorrow or Thursday. Fell out of a tree today, trying to cut the rest of next doors tree that is growing over our phone line. Not from a great hight, but fell on the fence and hurt my lower rib. Painful at the moment, but will carry on. Take care, Jeff
hello Jeff......a small oxy propane set is what I use for brazing......it gets hotter more locally and melts the braze faster..... wheels look good......looking forward to the next one👍
Hi Adam, that would be something to look into. In the end there was no point taking gambles with that tank, it's worth sending it to a professional. Thanks for your advice and for watching. Take care, Jeff
Nice job on the wheel Jeff and as for the tank if you don't try these things you will never no 👍👍👍👍
