This plugin is a true game changer. I stopped using the bend wheel years ago because of the problem of not being able to stay in key. But, this plugin will solve this. I'm not Arab, but I'm sure this is the plugin many Arab and Asian musians have been waiting for. Also, in Western, Brazilian and Flamenco style music genres this plugin will be massively successful. Congratulations to Gal and the team that created this essential plugin for generations to come !!

In short: The plugin lets you set a scale and then the pitch wheel will only bend to notes within that scale. Works even on chords etc. Actually, this is something that any keyboard and/or DAW should have built in.
Actually it works exactly the same way as it does with a soft synth, giving you smooth pitch bends in the key. :) There aren't many hardware synths that support MPE so mostly only the monophonic mode would work.

You did not disappoint. So much potential (and future potential) w/ this plugin/app (and future potential for smaller chunks of tracks). Random example = bending the major 3rd down a few cents to match the amazing ears of small ensembles who are "correcting" bach's even-temperament on the fly. Love it. Thanks!

If this was krishna Chetan's idea then how did Khatija Rehman became a partner in pitch innovations (the company) and how did AR RAHMAN got his daughter in the picture? I have seen AR RAHMAN sir's demonstatiom by Jordan Rudes and Karthick Devraj. But y not Krishna Chetan also do a promo for this. After all Chetan sir got the idea!
You guys should take action quickly and develop a no brainer investment package targeting licensing of your IP to DAW/keyboard manufacturers. Releasing this as a 3rd party plugin has its advantage in terms of exposure, but is also highly likely to invoke competition popping up all over the place. Move and act now! Brilliant concept... No idea regarding all the legal stuff, but in theory most plugins could become DAW features, and some indeed do. But from past experience, that could take many years until all of them do, and even then they might not get it ‘right’ as a dedicated plugin would.

In software you the dev decide how to distribute, or in other words license usage of your creation to others, be it individuals, companies, organisations... There are many different licensing models. My point is that your particular plugin is in my opinion pretty unique in the sense that it's one of those rather rare instances where one thinks how the hell nobody thought about implementing this before... It's almost like it should be an integral part of of MIDI itself. Therefore as said in my previous post that puts your product in a special position where keyboard/DAW manufacturers are likely to be interested in purchasing a licence from you in return for integrating your intellectual property onto their own products. Again, many different licensing models can be agreed upon. Bottom line - get some advice from a professional in this specific field. Hire or offer percentage of profits. Now is your chance... With software evolving so fast a few months down the track you'll probably start seeing competitors. And a bit later on someone might right similar code and release it as open source. The countdown has already begun the moment you and your partners exposed the actual concept of what your plugin does out to the world.

As this thing is going to be always on - they should have a "flat" mode that returns to the the "dumb pitch wheel" XD I wonder how this could be incorporated into live performances... Scales can change fast, and the GUI seems a bit much as it stands. Maybe playing a note + another physical button to which into its scale?
Oh BTW, in the most recent version we added the option to 'learn' up to 12 different presets into keyswitches, so you can certainly use that for live shows.

Hi, is there a "Midi Learn CC" function on the scale and root sections in order to assign different values (C, D, E etc, Minor, Major etc) on the fly while playing live or recording?
@@chrisroyer Not sure about a tutorial, but generally speaking: On the right side of the screen there's a "Keyswitch" button. If you click that it will open a little menu where you can midi learn and assign notes to any state of the plugin (scale, etc).
Yeah - so on the keys panel you can just turn on/off different notes you want in the scale. You can set any number of notes, so you can set a pentatonic, chromatic, and even a one-note scale (if you want all your notes to all bend into some pedal tone, for example).

Bit strange to see you in such close proximity in a pandemic, not helped by the illusion of her touching your ... leg (like 0:53). Since in my EDM niche I have never found a single use for my pitch bend wheel I don't think this plugin is for me but I appreciate other styles (that I abhor) may use it extensively.

Right! Well, until all of them figure it out, our plugin works with pretty much all sound sources (including hardware synths)!

Great! Please add more scales, or better: make it possible to load and save your own scale, as adding them every time is not very handy.

I followed the instructions to configure Fluid Pitch and I'm not getting any sound at all. Does anyone by chance know why this might be?

They will bend back into the key. So in C major, F# would bend up into G, and down into F.

Yes! It wasn't there on the initial release (so not in this video) but we added it on an update later.
