It’s crazy you guys ranked Aiken last and then he was the MVP. Your camp must have really helped these players

Playing goalie in lacrosse might be one of the ballsiest thing you can do. Willing standing in net trying to stop a lacrosse ball traveling at 90+/- mph with essentially no protection is crazy to me. I was hit accidentally in the shin one time by a lacrosse ball. The pain was intense and it seemed to get worse after a minute. Hats off to those that have the guts to stand their and attempt to stop these balls!!

I agree, but i think baseball players have it worse, the balls are much harder and they are coming in much faster, not to mention they have no gear except helmets, i dont even play baseball🤷‍♂️

@@rainshapes40 you could not be more wrong man. 2 completely different moments and sports as a whole, as a goalie, i am supposed to do anything i can do within rules to stop shots, with my stick preferably, but legs arms hands and head are all used, i couldn't tell you how many times ive gotten hit in the thighs and i come how with welts after a game. you aren't really trying to stop the ball unless you are fielding or a catcher. plus the fastest shots from well seasoned players can be over 100 easily, fastest shots ever recorded is 120+. and lacrosse balls are hard too. they are just a hard rubber. and i only wear the essential pads, helmet + neck guard, chest pad, gloves and cup. so all of my extremities are still left uncovered. how many times do you see a baseball pitcher hit someone in games? or a ball after being hit striking someone? now how many saves does the average HS/college goalie with his body in a game?

I love being a goalie to be honest with you like for me for my whole life I’m been a goalie for field and box and for field I’m in the cage putting my whole body in front of the ball because if it missed my stick my body is there so for me personally I love being the goalie because if you’re not afraid of the ball you’ll be set
