Thank you for your note! I was so pleased to see it. Al Kyte will be giving three talks on native plant garden design on the upcoming Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour: www.BringingBackTheNatives.net Kathy Kramer
Wow...That garden looks dreamy.....I wish I could do the same in my yard...I have a big yard for LA, 7500 sq ft but that yard he has is at least double! Amazing!
I'm glad you have enjoyed seeing Al Kyte's beautiful garden. Watch for Al again in the Spring 2021 Bringing Back the Natives Garden Virtual Tour! Warmly, Kathy

Thanks for the video! Can I make a suggestion? Tell the camera people filming to stand still as much as possible. Otherwise it's jittery the entire time due to typical poor wi-fi connection.
Hi Jake - Thank you for your note. We coached the garden tour hosts endlessly; Zooming in a garden is hard! You'll be happy to hear that for the 2021 Tour we are moving away from Zoomed presentations and to pre-recorded video and PowerPoint. You can register for the free 2021 Tour now at www.BringingBackTheNatives.net.
Hi Peter - this was made in April of 2020; right after the pandemic began, and we were using Zoom. You can see 6 professionally done videos make in Al Kyte's garden here: www.bringingbackthenatives.net/al-and-barbara-kyte’s-garden
Hi Peter - this video was made for the Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour (www.BringingBacktheNatives.net). The Tour is an in-person event that takes place in the San Francisco Bay Area; it is now in its 18th year. When the pandemic arrived we took the tour on-line. The first year (this video) the garden was shown on Zoom. The quality was poor. The next 6 videos on Al's garden were made with...video! And shown as part of the virtual Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour's in 2021 and 2022.
I love Al's garden and can feel his enthusiasm for natives!
This whole series is amazing! This garden is beautiful! I enjoyed so much watching this personal garden tour.

Love those manzanita trees!
Me too! Al's garden is really magnificent, for many reasons, but the manzanitas are a large part of the reason why. Kathy Kramer
Wonderful tour! Al is a great source of knowledge and love of natives. Thank you for sharing this garden

Beautiful garden.
Hi Dave, Yes, Al does have a beautiful garden! I hope you can attend the live tour one day, and see it in person. Warmly, Kathy

Great content but video recording by Zoom is awfully choppy. Best to do phone video, then incorporate it into the overall video

@@bringingbackthenativesgard8975 Thanks for the link. Was this on Zoom because you had a group audience? If so, then that makes a lot more sense now.
