Love and detachment should not be intertwined imo. Loving is important as a human, it's a way of showing our affection for others and the world. Detachment is acknowledging that all is not permanent, but that doesn't mean you should act differently. Spirit acts out of love but they don't attach themselves to us because they understand they can't serve us all of our life and we need different guidance in different stages.
