  • In this video I show you my way of creating great looking breadboard ends using the Festool Domino XL. There are several methods to do this but I find the Domino is the quickest/most effective way for me.

That looks great! Only difference I do is not cut on the loose side in the table. They can all be tight as they get glued in and the movement slides in the breadboard end.

quick question: I noticed you didn't put glue in the domino mortises on the breadboard end. Does the breadboard side not receive glue in the mortises?

Hey bud, nice work and great video. It might be a bit pointless to go with a loose setting on the table side where they're glued in and locked down anyway.

Great job on explaining and demonstrating how to do the breadboard with the dominoes. One question, do the holes on the breadboard for the dowels go all the way through the bottom? Thanks

You must be from the south. Auburn alabama here. Nice video. I'm doing a 84" x40" white oak table for a client and I'm sitting here with my long tenon cut and stuck. I'm trying to figure out a good way to cut my long mortise in the breadboard. I have the smaller domino. I'm poor haha

@@joey2gloves hey I found this comment in my junk column in my email. I did use them just to line up the board. No glue at all. I messed up and did 1” dowel pegs on the show side. So I was forced to match the other side. I wish I could send you a picture. It turned out AMAZING. The client was completely blown away.
