In this video we are going to Chilika Lake in Odisha near Puri. It is about 45km from Puri and is the largest salt water lagoon in Asia and second largest lagoon in the world, covering over 1,100 square kilometres. It is home to varied species of flora and fauna and also home to the Irrawaddy Dolphins which are the main point of attraction for tourists visiting here. During winters the lake is home to many migratory birds and a treat for bird watchers. We took an 1hour boat ride from Satapada pier to the Satapada Chilika Dolphin Habitat where the Dolphins can be sighted. Please join us on this amazing journey and witness nature up and close.
