Bro that shit was hilarious 😂
“We ain’t from here we ain’t from there” fuck that hit home lol
Yup famous saying on the community. I struggle with this shit. Fluent in both languages, too paisa for other Americans, too American for my community. And I’m a fucking immigrant, I just came at 12 so really blended in the culture. When I go to my community, I can see it.
I grew up in Cali and live in Mexico now but to be honest my PEOPLE don't se as Mexican.
El peor enemigo del mexicano es otro...
Slow people think gringo means white. It means American.
Idk. To me it means a "white American" specifically.
@@angelgregio yup
True...but most the time it does no one calls blacks or asian American etc gringos
@angelgregio it does here in the U.S. but people in Mexico use it to refer to people that come from the states.
@@ondeado6013 Me imagino que depende por área. Soy del norte/ NL y aya gringo significa un Americano Blanco.
I’m Mexican American and I dont care if Mexicans call me gringo and gringos calling me a wet back at the end of the day I’m proud of having Mexican roots and being American at the same time I’m Mexican American period
Simon I’m the same way Mexicanos think we think not like Mexican we think American
You let people call you wet back? In the 90's that was a pretty heavy racial term haven't heard it in a while
@@jhoninfante8683 obviously it’s an offensive slur to Mexicans but I’d rather be that than a 🐒🦍🦧

Americans aren’t our people… is that hard for you to understand? Y’all are American, we are Mexican.
@@Victorgutierrez-wt7leOk, what do you think Anglo-Americans see us as? Because we have always been demonized. Mex-Americans as a culture and community are literally mexican, there is no changing that unless we have been ethnically cleansed, which has happened...

He’s a poser. JOP is your typical Mexican American who has no roots in northern Mexico but is obsessed with acting and seeming like he’s from northern Mexico. From the way he talks, the accent he uses, and even the music he makes that’s all rooted in northern Mexico. He tries too hard to be seen as Sonorense or Sinaloense cause he thinks that’ll make him look tough or narco affiliated. None of his family is from those regions where that culture comes from. They think they’ll look tougher or gangster by imitating northern Mexican characteristics and culture cause those stereotypes have always been reserved for norteños in Mexico. It’s kinda like how many non black people in the US copy African American slang they learn through hip hop cause they think they’ll look tougher.

This man literally in another interview said in Spanish "I’m American" then gets offended
He didn’t sound offended brother. Simply saying how it is. In the US we’re too Mexican and in Mexico we’re too American. I tell em I’m Texan and that’s that 💪

If youre botn here you wanna be a rapper. Mexicans from Mexico theyre on a flavor you can only get in Mexico
And who do you think introduced it to Mexico? Kid frost, delinquent habits, jae-p, and akwid introduced that style of rap to Mexico
@MalitoSC we can conjecture who Introduced who to what. But at the end of the day it's who does the most with what they got to give the people what they want.

@yayyy755 to be honest, that Vaqerro subculture isn't exclusive to northern Mexico and aligns with the general culture of rual Mexico. Which is where most chicanos/pochos originally come from, the rancho or Pueblos, which are the most impoverished communities. Sure, banda nortenas and corridos originated in the north, but the same could be said about the culture of the south that the north takes from.
Now, as for black culture and hip hop, that is a very paisa perspective. We aren't Anglo-Americans in the suburbs, we are in the same urban communities as black people. We naturally pick up the "culture" growing up in the ghetto and vice versa. Where do you think lowriders and the general flashy car culture that originated came from? This is also incredibly ironic cuz that's literally what peso pluma, Nata, and generally new corrido artists are doing, paisas who never grew up with black American people imitating black culture looking like goofy busters🤡
This is the problem carnal. We are too stupid in general to come up in society without portraying dealings and taking up Afro cultura.
We are all americanos. Even Mexicanos. America are continents. Not a country! Let’s educate nos full with ignorance.

The word Gringo started in the days of the Mexican Revolution the U.S Military went to Mexico looking for Pancho Villa our people didn't like the fact that Americans were in our territory so the would say Green-go for them to leave it doesnt mean that your American.
