- Luke Cundle’s first Stoke City goal earned a hard-fought point for the Potters at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday afternoon.
The midfielder, introduced as a second half substitute by Head Coach Steven Schumacher, calmly finished in front of 3,900 travelling supporters to secure a share of the spoils after Liam Palmer had opened the scoring for the hosts eight minutes earlier.
Both sides went close to a late winner in the game’s latter stages, though both had to settle for a point apiece that sees the Potters retain their three-point cushion on the Owls heading into the campaign’s final three fixtures.

Thanks, it's a shame we had such a bad start under our previous manager, the damage was already done 😔 over the last 30 games we are 11th in the form table but Xisco Munoz destroyed our team, he won 1 game in 16 and signed up a bunch on players not even fit for league one, by the time Danny Rhöl came it was too late.
I think you will be fine now, and Birmingham have to play Huddersfield still.
