- Rev. Richard Ngidi was born in Umzimnyathi, KwaZulu-Natal, in 1921. Rev. Ngidi was converted into Christianity in 1952. It was in one of Bhengu's evangelistic crusades (Back to God) in Lamontville, Durban. He was then baptized in water by the man of God, William Duma.
Amen. Thank you for sharing this. I cried seeing Baba Ngidi. I remember the days at Imbali AFM when he would preach and sing. He was a great man of God in the pulpit and out of the pulpit. A model of Christ!

+THEMBINKOSI SIYABONGA ZULU I was a young boy but I remember him in the 80s. He would come to our house and he and my dad and Mr. Ntuli would talk about the goodness of the Lord.
+THEMBINKOSI SIYABONGA ZULU We lived in Woodlands PMB but fellowshipped at Imbali AFM with baba. Those were some of the best times and then the Lord moved us to the US - Chicago.
One of my memories during those times was when the police told my dad that we were supposed to fellowship at a coloured church in Woodlands not at Imbali. Dad told them that Imbali was our family and we were NOT leaving. I am so glad we never left because there were friendships that I made then that I still have today. I miss those days. Not the same here in The States.
+THEMBINKOSI SIYABONGA ZULU yes. My dad, mom younger brother and me left for the States in 1988. I have been back a few times but not since 2012 when I brought my wife to have a small umshado with family.
+THEMBINKOSI SIYABONGA ZULU He used to always tell us. "nginamandla eNkosi" (forgive my spelling) and encourage us to be the same.
I have so many stories I could go on and on but like you said the focus is always Jesus not a man. We thank the Lord for the example he left us so that we could live for Jesus!
Bless you my brother!
+THEMBINKOSI SIYABONGA ZULU sure my brother. dwainhr@yahoo.com. Glad we got to connect. May the Lord bless you!

"i dont like someone who is preaching the theory if u do u wasting ma time"
Is he still alive?
He died along time ago. He was too powerful. Apostle Paul of our time
Is Rev Ngidi, the founder of
AFM?
No. He was just a Reverend in one of the branches and as part of the overall leadership, if I am not mistaken.
