Now this is what i call, using the right machine for the right job......Your video shows zeros down the difference between big bikes being for adventure or Long Travels........And that's how i have arrived here.....Thanks a lot for the great work
Thanks. For me, mid-weight adventure bikes (700-900CC) are the sweet spot. Powerful enough to cover highway miles, but light enough to deal with bad roads and tracks that take you to cool places. Plenty of terrain on this trip that I would not want to be riding a fully-ladened GS1200 over!
They are "dodgy overtaking" you friend because you're driving like an old man. How dare you? No worries, time got me too. I've been contemplating taking a cycle from Mexico all the way south, sure looks pretty. Thanks for sharing and nice video. If you don't mind me asking, how did you get your bike down there or did you rent one?
It gets way more dodgy later on 😂 I flew the bike from London to Argentina. Sea freight is slightly cheaper, but the local charges are higher at the sea port than the airport for some reason, and you don't get a guaranteed arrival date. For any trip longer than 1-2 months, shipping will work out cheaper than renting. Plus you get the setup and 'known quantity' of your own bike.
Thanks for the trip. Have a safe ride.
Much Enjoyment 👍😎
Some awesome footage in there - Andes crossing looks immense even viewed on my phone!
I just stumble across your video. And I was planning this trip. Amazing! Ride safe

the brazilian side is better than the argentine one... why? because you can see Argentina from there 😎
But Brazil has far more monkeys, some in the trees.
