This is based on the Azie, Rich Porter, and Alpo story, so yeah, they were amongst the first drug dealers during the crack explosion, although Azie only dealt powder. Him and Kevin Chiles describe that time well. For a time, crack came back from police testing as baking soda, so dealers were getting arrested and then released to carry on. Raekwon of Wu Tang explains how it was accepted in the beginning, and it took a little time before the devastating amassed, so the kids dealing didn't see the effect on their communities at first. Thats why they flexed without a care; they didn't need to care.
