I think the fact is going along the line how she never really was a foundational component of the Avengers from the start as opposed to the comics. Wasp is a part of the OG Avengers and the original circle of heroes. So it's kinda true, all we got from her was the fight in Endgame while she's much more active in the comics.

Fun fact about Norse mythology the reason Thor’s hammer is so short is because the makers of it where in a time trial to build it and the handle wasn’t done in time
