I liked the XOTIC!!! I liked the squash / color of it!
These videos lead me to buy a Barber unit- the early version like you have. Great pedal.
The Barber and the Origin Effects' boxes sound the best to my ears. Great demo!
Great comparison ! Thanks!
Very helpful, THANX!
These are all pretty good compressors and within a mix would be indistinguishable from each other, and do the job especially with a good engineer. What's more important because they are all good ..is what the noise floor is like. My Cali 76 is noisy. I like it..but it is noisier than many other comps.
great video !!
Good demo
Which one do you like between the Diamond & the Barber ( and why )? Which one is more Noisy? Those are the 2 that I like best. Thanks.
Not huge a difference in any of them. In live situations, any discernible difference would be lost in the mix.
Turn the sensitivity on the MXR to 9 or 10 o'clock! It swishes too much at noon and loses dynamics-you have some other pedals set different with nice squish characteristics. Get a proper Dyna too like a script either old or Reissue-that's not the right one to use comparing to a 76 or AM!
Not a very correct test.
