- In this video, we discuss Pharm.D. courses in Tamil Nadu. We covered eligibility criteria to join the PharmD course and fee structures in private colleges in Tamil Nadu.
All colleges must be affiliated with two bodies to run a pharmacy college. 1. The Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University 2. Pharmacy Council of India

It is important to check the affiliation before joining the college. It is also very important that the hospital provide facilities for the institution. The hospital with at least 1000 outpatients per day, because the knowledge you gain in the last year of study in all the departments of the hospital is very imperative for your career as a clinical pharmacist or clinical research scientist.
We have also covered job opportunities in government, private industry, and overseas.
We mentioned the clinical research scientist job in the private sector for PharmD graduates. We have also mentioned bright opportunities overseas, like in the USA, Canada, Australia, and European countries, as a clinical pharmacist.
But as far as government opportunities are concerned, there is no scope in India.
Opportunities are abundant in private multinational pharma companies. Clinical research companies like Accenture, Quintiles, and Parexel also offer opportunities for PharmD graduates.

Since you are studying CS..best opt for BE/B.TECH CS...you will make money immediately after completing the course..but if you are interested in healthcare profession and can study for 10 years ...also having good financial background.. then go for MBBS/BDS.... The pharmacy course is also good at present but initially the salary will be low...only after a good experience.. salary will increase...As mentioned in the video BSMS/BHMS/BYMS/BAMS... all are less scope courses...Still your interest decides everything ...My best wishes 🎉

It's a degree course....so as per Tnpsc whatever exam comes under degree qualification...you can apply...

@PalaniPalani.k-o1q it's a new college... Kindly check their Hospital tie up and the patient load... Because in Pharm D...the last 3 years you should gain experience from the hospital and from all the departments of the hospital..

Chances are less in Annamalai...No Government college having Pharm D course...But you will get in Private institutions...My Best wishes..

Is studying b-pharm worthful and get good job in abroad or india.is pharm-D equivalent to b-pharm.are bpharm students allowed to wear white coat sir. @@Medsquiz No problem you can ask me as many questions as you want....I will answer...Tier 2 city Pharmacy colleges like colleges around Erode will offer Pharm D course for 2 lakhs per year fees...So you need 15 to 20 lakhs to complete the course...B Pharm or Pharm D all are pharmacist can wear White coat... Overseas opportunities are good for both...But Current B Pharm is not eligible for USA..Hope you got cleared...If not ask me friend..

In any field salary depends upon your attitude and involvement in work ..Scope for Pharm D is good in Private companies and in foreign country..KMCH & Sri Ramakrishna college...both are doing good in Coimbatore..

@@santhanam34 if you want low fees..then institution will not be upto the standard....Any institution with their own hospital is a good one...But rarely you find this combination in TN example KMCH coimbatore...

@Nivetha... Congrats for good marks...You will get Pharm D at Annamalai... Foreign opportunities are good than Indian openings....You will get better starting salary of 1.5 to 2 lakhs per month in Gulf and it will be much better in USA...My best wishes.

There is no much difference in fees structure except PSG...You have to go to Erode belt for less fees colleges like ssm, nandha ..

@Asros... fees varies from college to college.Deemed university and renowned colleges would cost 4 to 6 lakhs per annum for management seat. But Government fixed fees is 2.5 laks per annum..
