  • We're excited to announce that our popular Sew Together Tuesday video series has returned - and we've kicked things off with a truly special project that gives back! Here we've posted the third (and final) part of our three-day Sew Together Tuesday mini-series with our National Educator Teresa Coates as she shares her tips and tricks for creating a Kimberbear (stuffed animal bear).
To learn more about the Kimberbear - including how to download the free pattern as well as recommended fabrics and notions - we've put together a blog post outlining everything you need to know and more!
We look forward to seeing the Kimberbears you create! Please use the hashtag #kimberbearstory when sharing your bears on social media, and tag us at @shannonfabrics on Instagram to be featured on our Instagram story.

I had some scrap and did my first attempt at the Kimber Bear. Watched your 3 videos. Couldn't have done it without you. It's a little off but had fun making it. Going to try your all in one pattern next. Before I sew the the two pieced together and stuff I'll do the face and muzzle first.

I can’t thank you enough for all your ideas and changing some of the instructions you’ve made to give us your way which was exactly what i needed! Was going to give up on certain things but now changed my mind and will make another bear plus the cuddle blanket that goes with it! I again can’t thank you enough! Your amazing and the knowledge you’ve passed to us is remarkable! I owe you my thanks and Shannon Fabrics are lucky to have you

Just finished watching the three tutorials for sewing the bear. My plan is to try and sew one with my 11 year old granddaughter and I wanted to get a heads up on what we are facing. Thank you all for your hard work on putting this together and for all your wonderful hints on sewing with the luxe fabric!!
