How is the durability of this bag? Need to get a second small bag that I will need to check. I don't need much room as I am only over weight for my carry on by 4kg. Would this 21" bag be sturdy enough for the luggage handlers and machines? Wish someone would post a durability test of more bags to see how they hold up in real world conditions.

I see many bags advertised as "carry on" however with the newer restrictions on size from many airlines most of those bags are too big and need to be checked. Is this an issue with this bag? Trying to find one and don't want to purchase if I get to the check in counter only to be told I need to have it checked. Im going to be traveling internationally.

+Tasty Chop Thanks for the comment Tasty Chop. The problem is that when you fly internationally you are hit with an array of carry-on luggage restrictions that very widely from country to country. So there is not a one size fits all solution. That being said i would look at what countries you find yourself flying to mostly and base your carry-on restriction accordingly. The Delsey Belfort Plus 21" Carry-on will fit most European countries but I would go with a 20" carry-on to be on the safe side. Hope that helps.

+LuggageBase Thanks. Would my travel agency be able to help me more with answering that question? I just have a hard time trying to find the right bag because most of the sizes do not include the wheel height. I'll be traveling to the Philippines though.

+Tasty Chop I will also be going to the Philippines in March 2016, Thailand as well, I was also looking for the right carry on luggage as well even know there nothing wrong with this one in this video, However I found Samsonite, perfect size & everything, however the only 2 problems i face were, #1 It not enough room for me to pack a month worth of clother which is how i'm staying in Philippines, #2 u got to watch out for theft & what i mean is, while it a perfect size luggage, It has zipper & even with the locks, it easy to break into...
For me, safety come first, So now i be getting Samsonite S'cure luaggage, Yea it not a carry on but it big & it very great security against theft which can happen ones your bags go through Airport baggage security , maybe this be helpful...........www.safesuitcases.com/

I ended up getting the Delsey Honore+ 18.5 carry-on. No zippers, no external pockets for anyone to put contraband into. I'm only taking a few changes of clothes and other things. I'll pickup other clothes and toiletries while I am there. Some places you can buy for very cheap. If you want your zippered bag to be more secure have it wrapped in cellophane so its not that easy to break into. These thief's are looking for easy baggage to break into.
