In 2021, CFC sold Dry Cottonwood Creek Ranch to a Montana ranching family who continues to operate the fish screen with the new, lower impact dam. As part of the sale of the property, the river is also protected under a conservation easement that allows for year round public access. CFC is now working on beneficial irrigation solutions at an additional seven sites in the Upper Clark Fork using the lessons learned at Alvi-Beck.
