A malfunctioning elevator made a weird thrumming sound. No, I didn't make a song out of it, but I went to my electronic keyboard & played something loud to compete with it.I tried to play Bach's Passacaglia & Fugue in c minor. (That piece goes well with my mood, & I do love Baroque music. Especially the organ music of Handel & Bach). It's hard to play, though, so I improvised a simplified version. It didn't drown out the elevator thrumming but it made the sound less scary. BTW, two days later that elevator was out of order. But I digress. Here is the Bach piece I tried to drown out the elevator "thrum" with: ua-cam.com/video/nVoFLM_BDgs/v-deo.html No, that's not me in the video, that piece is difficult for me to play, & besides the organist in the video is a professional.
