- This video we begin in Exmouth before heading to the stunning Winderabandi Point Campground where we spent 3 blissful weeks snorkelling, on tinny fishing missions, hanging out with mates + making new friends and soaking up the off-grid beachfront views.

Across Yardie creek you van brakes came on, check if they are mean to. We have Dexter and it disables the van breaks in situations like that.

Great video's guys!! been binge watching while injured off work and slowly starting to plan our trip.. What were the months you did NT, the gibb and exmouth/ningaloo? you kept saying end of season, so october/november and december? How did you find the traveling then and the weather? I would prefer all of those out of season! do you have an extra trans cooler on the rig? Sorry for the overflow of questions :D Anyway, love your channel and keep it real guys!!!
@@atims79 G’day! Thank you for the binge watch 🤩 We crossed the NT border on September 9th, started the Gibb Sept 30th and landed in Exmouth November 9th, to be precise.
We’re definitely shoulder season/off season travellers as we prefer to avoid the crowds in peak if we can, only disadvantage for the Gibb was a lot of the station stays had already closed as well as some hikes/waterfalls we wanted to see. Next time around we’ll aim to do the Gibb a few weeks earlier!
Exmouth is more windy in the off season, so if you’re there then just give yourself more time to allow for bad weather days as you’ll need those crisp days for snorkelling. We feel like we scored big time being at Winderabandi Point during off season as I hear it’s near impossible to get a site during peak. Also had friends head to south lefroy around the same time and they were the only van there.
The Ranger has a larger intercooler fitted, which has around 3.5x the surface area of a standard intercooler.
