Vasiliev does not have a ' classical ' body shape with long, lean limbs, but his elevation is insane! Power and grace, he is like a majestic eagle in flight. There is a video on UA-cam with current premiers of Bolshoi, a lot of young dancers, plus 2 former premiers at the end- Vasiliev and Tsiskaridze. It was not till those 2 that I had all of my WOW moments. Clearly showed the difference between very good and magnificent.

+pediatrapaola I just watched Vladimir in the same scene. His interpretation s completely different, he is a more plausible Spartacus, a noble champion to the people, full of humanity. Ivan is abstract and brings more animalism, feels like watching Hercules by disney

Tsiskaridze is a feather, a butterfly while Ivan is a majestic eagle) love them both)
