He never mentioned it was necessary to have a jumper, just to have it become a skill of his game. Bol Bol is already a skillful player as it is. That's like saying Kevin Durant didn't need a jumpshot in his career because he was 7'0. Same applies for Joel Embidd, a highly praised Center for his ability to shoot, block, defend and become an offensive superstar. That was lowkey a lame excuse just because of his height. Shooting would only strengthen his offensive game.
