@JustwingitRC This was just the 2nd flight. I got to get it dialed in. It has a really powerful rudder!
I have the red / white one. E flight version. Awesome planes. I upgraded my with a Spektrum 60 amp Smart ESC so I have fulll telemetry. She’s heavy so she’ll chew up a battery pretty quick. Buy some SMC racing LIHV high voltage packs and you can fly it with a 3600 mAh 75C Igh voltage pack . Fits well. Way more power and of course added flight time for sure. You’ll need to re glue the landing gear fuselage mount in with Gorilla glue . Awesome plane , looks great and does STOL with the best of them .

This is definitely a different color for a model & a pleasant change! The green FUTURA really stands out.
Since Eflite offers a 1500mm version also, how do they compare as flyers?

Hi Rich Iv'e always enjoyed your channel and you superior piloting skills ... it's been a while since I have watched , heck it was probably when you did Unboxing ,Build and Flights with the FMS Red Tail P51 which I still have ... and its in brand new shape ... Because I have never had it up in the air lol , anyway its been that long ...The Maule seems like an awful nice high wing plane ... You always do an amazing job ... @RCINFORMER Cool, very cool. I'm starting a 1/3 scale piper tri-pacer pa22. With instruments and cabin seats and lighting system.. A computer controlled ignition, for the two cylinder gasser, is very big.
Flying with a 3200 3s mine can’t hold inverted, maybe I need more elevator throw. Not that surprising with a flat bottom high lift wing, any body else have that ‘problem’? I say problem in quotes because it is after all a high lift STOL aircraft and it does that exceedingly well. Watch out for slow speed turns, mine tip stalled like a boss several times on the same flight until I figured it out that you can fly slower straight and level than you can in a bank, duh!!! See one of my older videos, was actually incredibly lucky to have crashed in 3 ft high hay without so much as a scratch!

reality check :27 the distance between the prop and wing is excessive. the tail of an aircraft should be made as light as practical. but, no. fms chose to put extra mass in a stoopidly designed vert-stab, and to stoopidly put the mass of two servos at the tail.! googletranslate

I agree! They spend tens of millions of dollars on soccer fields, as if we needed another one, but they will not spend a dime on an R/C flying facility. One of these days, I may have to get my own place to fly:)
