This is a great reminder, to reflect how easily and unconsciously we tend to judge other people by their actions and appearance without taking time to get to know their heart. And also to again remember to be flexible, for righteousness can take us far but then, letting go of so much righteousness will take us further. To let go of my own concepts and opinions and be really ready and committed to learn from my Guru and the teachers that present there in my path. Thanks so much for sharing Dear Swamiji!!
Jaigurudev swamiji! I am fortunate and honored to have joined your chanting sessions. I am so privileged . There is so many things to learn and know about our ancient saints and Rishi, sometimes it feels one life time is not enough! My humble regards to you!
Beautifully expressed,I have great experience listening to stories narrated by you Swamiji, lessons learned in every story n I am able to spread the message to coming generations. JGD
Jaigurudev swamiji .. 🙏 although I have read and heard these stories before, but hearing from you makes a big difference in understanding them better i.e. the true meaning they convey. Thank you so much swamiji .... jaigurudev.
Thanks from the bottom of the heart swami ji. The deeper we go in the ocean of knowledge the better we understand the path of spirituality and how vital is a guru in someone life .well explained swami ji how to remove the poison of ego from our life .Jai Gurudev 💐🙌
Thank You dear Swamiji for yet another story of yet another Great Guru from Great Guru Parampara and feels grateful that Gurudev has made us part of it.. In one of the sessions if you can talk about the Parampara in present situation , on how we should live as a sincere seeker, that will be very helpful.. 🙏🏻
I am not the son of ved vyasa but I have experienced the same thing as sukadeva while being near my guru. The ego was taken care in the similar fashion. And after listening to the story of satyakama jabala I feel blessed that this is the realization that gurudev wants me to have. I feel fortunate to have a path and gurudev (god) himself.
WOW! Another wonderful story... I was feeling Deja Vu while watching this video. Quick question about the timeline of the story; So, King Janaka is the same king Janaka from Ashtavakra Gita, right? Did Janka become fully enlightened master after Ashtavakra Gita? If yes, then what was the timeline correspondence with Veda Vyasa? Did Veda Vyasa compile the Vedas close Ashtavakra's Gita time? (Did Veda Vyasa live for thousands of years?)
Janak literally means Father. And every king of lineage of who ruled the kingdom of Mithila were devoted to the service of their citizens like a father, that's why citizens used to call them "Janak". In simple way, every king who ruled Mithila were called as "Janak" because they devotee their life as a service to their citizens like any father.
Jai Gurudev Swami ji... First of all thank you so much for this story series........ Can one be enlightened in one lifetime even if he has not done any spiritual growth in previous births????
But sukdeva wanted moksa due to his birth history...and that is the reason raja pariksit wanted to kisten bhagwad from him only..he knew bhagwad when he was in womb..as parrot..suka

I don't feel as usual
What's wrong has gone I can't understand please help me
What were those 14 good karmas and what 12 good karma that he lost ? Can you please explain little bit more about it. Thank you
They did not mention any specific karmas.. it just means he lost 12 out of 14 units of his punya (good karmas/merit)
Dear Swamiji, is this King Janaka the same one from the Ashtavakra Gitta?!
Janak literally means Father.
And every king of lineage of who ruled the kingdom of Mithila were devoted to the service of their citizens like a father, that's why citizens used to call them "Janak".
