His friend who is an Actor donated $5000 to save one of Bourdains favourite restaurants in Beirut! He said it's something Anthony would have done if he was still with us today.

Beirut in this clip looks like some sort of a futuristic war torn city with a complex culture.

absolutely miss these episodes. Ive not missed a single episode or a series over the years. He had a rough life but did get his share of fame and recognition before he died. People are fighting a lot of battles behind their smiles. I wish he had sought help or someone who was too close to him could talk him out of whatever misery he was going thru. There simply cannot be another Anthony Bourdain.
Beirut is by far the best city Ive been in. lebaneseee peopleee

Lived there for 6 years in the 1990s. Bourdain captured it better than anyone. Miss him a lot.

Beirut is a bad place to start a ‘Hell’s Hebrews’ chapter.

You surely didnt seem to know the history. Last time when he was there the war broke out. But if you have watched this video you might have found out.
Nadeem hell yes.
2:16 Is that No-Face in the window?
It’s unbelievable that this man killed himself . He could have literally lived in any country on earth. What happened to him ?!?!? :(

bourdain said "i wouldnt throw stones at people on harleys"
Well, palestinian kids throw stones at zionist soldiers on tanks 😆
way to blend the nastiness of politics with the loveliness and non divisiveness of food, jackass.
Gila, Bourdain said that because in the US if you throw stones at someone's tires like that then you will get SHOT IN THE FACE.
@@itsolivier wow, didnt realise someone got so triggered by that comment 😂😂😂
Don’t worry I realize messages 3 years late well, my anger has long passed and you properly were simply being humorous in that moment , Weird that it was all before Covid . We take a lot of things for granted like humor , Keep it up , just get some Jew jokes thrown in there to , that would make you legend @@whatamericansactuallymeanw6392
I loved to watch anthony bourdain parts unknown until i watched the episode about beirut
Thanks to cnn anthony showed the worst aweful picture of lebanon
Lebanon is a beautiful country on the meditterranean with great beach /ski resorts great clubs and wonderful people its not hezbolla guns isis and bunch of communists as shown by mr bordain
Shame on him and shame on cnn
No it was great, for the americans.. The people always have so stupid beliefs about middle eastern countries.. To show them that there are bikers, especially biker women with open hair, can only get them so confused that they might start to think "maybe all I heard from the right wing and some tv stations might be wrong the whole time?" which would be nice..
That is something you would like to see too, wouldnt you? If not then I know that you are one of those medieval guys.. Sad
Your Conscience I get what you’re saying. It seems like it was more CNN/Bourdain’s attempt to make Lebanon cooler to their audience,. Sth gritty. The Lebanese might think this is bad PR for their country, but in a way, it’s actually good PR for rebel Americans like Bourdain.
As you say, Lebanon is beautiful. He went to Beirut. Did he conceal the beauty there?
I was there in 1972 when it still was the Paris of the Middle East. It’s hard to squint and see past the scars today.
