The problem with careerism, is that there's sacrifice that needs to be made in order to move up that career ladder. Women have been lied to by everyone and told "You can have your education and career and have it all". That's not true for men, and it certainly isn't true for women. Men have known that career advancement demands sacrifice. Men recognize that the sacrifice is time, emotions, your social life, and social compatibility with a potential partner. Women increasingly are being hit with this harsh fact of life and don't know how to handle it.

4. What can I offer the man I would want to marry?

Selfishness is prioritizing your partner over your own personal interests and when two selfless people come together that is what we call marriage, where both men and women come together to have a kid, raise said kid so that their kid can become a useful or future member of society but now it’s me and what I want rather than what’s best for my partner let alone what’s best for my kids, the same way a man doesn’t want his woman to walk around like a lady of the night whilst going out to dinner because what she does also reflects on him, the same way how when your dad does something super embarrassing and it reflects onto you, that’s whats it is like for a man when his woman is acting like a hoe, and again if you want to succeed then help and support your man through thick and thin until death do you part of because of a genuine reason to divorce then no a woman shouldn’t be able to end a relationship and take all of the man’s stuff, if woman want equality then they have to bring into the relationship the same as to what they get from said divorce and no emotional labor doesn’t count, that’s just parenting
