Blue Bird makes AWESOME buses...!!! I especially love these "flat faces" as i call them. My dad was a school superintendent in two locations while i was growing up. And at that time back in '84-86 we had 4 Blue Bird flat face buses. One was REALLY decked out with air horn, outside intercom the driver could speak through the CB on to alert kids etc...CD player, etc...It was FULLY loaded 83 passenger bus. And it had lower compartment storage similar to a greyhound coach style bus. It was my favorite bus for sure.
6:42 that's where I'd expect a lot of damage, I remember riding the bus to school and pretty much all of the seatbacks would be ripped up and repaired with peeling blue tape or duct tape
All the school buses I rode in the 90's were this spec, Blue Bird front diesel engine/automatic, longest/biggest one you could spec. The buses we normally rode were less than 10 years old, but man when our normal bus was out of commission, we got some real old janky shit to ride to school in, think 1970's buses with big smelly gas engines/manual transmissions that the driver really didn't know how to shift. Some of those buses had hard ass green fiberglass seat backs instead of those padded ones like this bus, crack your little kids skull open if you got into a wreck.
