The one week we don't want the bad weather, we get it. It's funny how that works. Christian and Katy join us on La Vagabonde for a week of sailing and to experience boat life for the first time. It's always nice showing new people how it is that we live on the water. Except for those times when the weather is bad and our guests are sea sick. Sorry crew, fingers crossed it clears up soon 😄

We are all dealing with our lives in differing parts of the world, jobs, families etc and you are transporting us to a place where we have either been before or would love to be now. Thanks. Don't be jealous - been watching Lost Leblanc for a long time. He is the one that got me into watching Travel Videos. Then your site started popping up and that's when I started following the both of you. I really enjoy how real you and authentic you too are. I am so glad that you were able to connect with Christian. Keep doing what you are doing. I am always praying for your safety on your journeys especially on big crossings. Continue to love and support each other. If you have seen Tom Cruise's movie "Oblivion", my wife and I are self employed and we use a line out of that movie - "We are an effective team". You two are definitely an effective team to go through all the things you have endured. You will always have these videos to share with you children one day as an example of your love for each other.
Great videos Elayna and Riley! A note for your guests who get seasick: I used to get very seasick and tried numerous over-the-counter remedies of which none worked effectively. I now use scopolamine which, here in the U.S., has to be prescribed by a doctor. It is like magic. I can go out on the water and enjoy myself without getting sick. I can even drink beer! Hope this helps.

Each day I watch your videos from Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada and very much enjoy them. I am 3 years before retirement and would love to learn to sail to have some of this lifestyle in my non-working life. I would love to have our paths cross someday.

Only just started the vid and had to stop and comment to say how much I enjoy watching you two. I know I'll run into the both of you someday, and it will be so weird because I'll feel like I know you so well, and you'll be like "who the hell is this guy?" Anyway, cheers guys. I'm in the early part of Rile's journey, saving up for the boat. I hope my own journeys turn out half as awesome as yours. BTW, I feel like the videos once again have the carefree, genuine feel that got me hooked in the first place. I could feel all the pressure you guys were under when you first got the new boat, and it felt like you were trying to do all these things the way other successful UA-camrs have. The stress was hidden, but almost palpable. I'm glad you realized you made it big by doing things your own way, and have returned to what I consider your original, authentic style (with refined editorial polish by Elayna. Yo Riley! WD40 is a degreaser, and will lead to increased wear on your traveler. It is great for cleaning engine parts, and not so good for lubrication. Use a good silicone spray to reduce resistance between the parts. Just a helpful hint for the you guys. I love the channel, yours is the only blog I watch! I look forward to each episode.
