So I say this with so much love because I truly enjoy so many sermons from this church- though I’ve only watched/listened to pastor Skip up until this point. I know that a lot of followers of Jesus aren’t comfortable with researching the truth about the earth, and biblical cosmology- but I always find it difficult for a church to claim they believe the Bible is Gods Word and without error- and yet, Chip- you completely disregard the evidence of creation and of how old the earth is in this sermon. When we start mixing “Big Bang theory “ type of jargon into the preached word.....we are literally mixing iron with clay. They just don’t belong together. I would truly pray on this topic- and although I know it’s not a salvation issue- it can be conflicting to not take all of what God says about His creation to heart. Pray and research this topic. The moment you can see that “outer space” as toted by NASA negates God severely and literally makes it seem like earth is just “another planet”- and that God is truly right above us- so much closer than “the universe” places Him--you will take so much comfort and it will truly help you to see we have really been born into lies on top of lies- just to try and make God not exist. This reinforces the need for truth and wisdom from the Father. Sorry to ramble. May the Lord bless you and shine His face upon you- in Jesus might name ❤️
Oh gosh and I listened a bit further and you called us organized orangutans 🤦🏻♀️ why are we mixing atheist theories into the preached word of God? Evolution literally is the furthest thing from the truth--sorry but I am just trying to understand how you all are such wonderful lovers of Jesus but don’t have the discernment to see the error in this train of thought displayed here 😔
