I swear, the entire “Shotgun” moment is legendary. Because I remember screaming and cheering the first time I watched that scene, because of how the CGI just “happened” in a very sudden way, that made it still feel completely epic
I think my favorite part of that scene is at the end when Sarge and Grif are talking and Simmons is in the background stumbling around before falling over.
Wash is great, when he's around the reds and blues he seems like a competent, real soldier, but around the other freelancers he's practically an honorary red
Personal favorite Wash moment is during Season 12: "Caboose...I don't know how to tell you this without both confusing you and breaking your disturbingly fragile heart" "I AM AN EMOTIONAL TIME BOMB :D" "Jesus Christ"
i actually met agent washington on reach once. after kicking my ass and carrying his team, i added him to my friends list. he was always in private parties with the rest of the cast, too. it was pretty sweet.
My personal favorite comedic Washington moment: Season 17 when he tries to talk to Freelancer Carolina and York, only to be told by one of the Triplets to just ask her when they had already become friends, and Wash proceeding to scream when he realizes he could've done this the whole time
@@tommoolenaar3901 it's episode 5. I'd recommend 17 btw, the best of the post Chorus stuff imo. 15 was rushed, 16 is hit-or-miss, but 17 is great, and another interesting conclusion
Ya know it's moments like this that reminds me Wash is still very much a freelancer. Cause not only did he take a car going high speed to the gut, hang on, and manage to shot into said car, he also survived getting blown the heck up and keep working like it's nothing. Wash may not have the same combat skills as say Carolina, but man is he a tough SOB.
@@yapflipthegrunt4687Yeah. That may look low when the leaderboard is out of 6 people and almost all the other freelancers we see were on it, but Wash still beat out like 40 other guys who were supposed to be really freaking good. Agent Washington: What? Wait. What are you up to? What is that noise? Do I hear a…CARRRRR!!!! *The moment we the audience realized Washingtons greatest PTSD ever since joining Freelancer*
I kinda felt bad for Meta in this series, when he was "teamed up" with Wash. Maine was probably a broken shell of a human at this point, but wouldn't he and Wash had been friends back in the proper Freelancer days.
The fact that red vs blue is better then the halo live action series is surprising in every detail. Red vs blue has some pretty damn good action and humor
I love how throught the show in these moments they kept a hint that everything is connected by having a mouse in the top left corner at all times but just for these scenes

Wash might be the character I relate to the most. I’m either the dumbest guy, the person who’s done with everyone’s bs but gets things done, or the group’s dad.
When I first saw red vs blue I watched the trailer. I thought it we be all fighting at death. But instead I got 10+ seasons of this...... couldn't have asked for a better show.
You left out my favorite scene in the desert , when Washington sees the "HUMENS SUK" message on the sand from one of the aliens. Doc: "What does it say? What does it say?" Washington: "It says peace talks have broken down. Now we do it our way." Then him and the Meta starts killing the aliens.
Technically Wash was never the worst considering he outlived most of them. He had a good head on his shoulders, even if he wasn’t a total powerhouse like the others. Even Carolina realized that after Season 10, and why a pure war machine like Locus was so fascinated by him.
I swear, the entire “Shotgun” moment is legendary. Because I remember screaming and cheering the first time I watched that scene, because of how the CGI just “happened” in a very sudden way, that made it still feel completely epic
