I really like that SKE but I already have the semi transparent smoke DW5600SK-1. I ordered an aftermarket transparent strap for it so I will see how that looks with the chrome mirror face
Thank you for a great review and explaining some differences between models re weight. Yes the buttons are much larger. I was about to pull the trigger on the DW5600BB and now I don't know what to do. I'm mainly going to wear it for exercise but since seeing the black ion metal version.. Yikes!
I think there is a segment of G-Shock consumers that are firmly in the simplicity camp and don't really want their G-Shock to have features like a metal case or Bluetooth which might take away from it's original worry free, rugged, beater watch roots. I think that DW5600BB would be a fine model for those people.
Love mine. Also have the DW-5600 E and the SKE transparent.
