In Germany, kids actually have to get a fountain pen (in elementary school) as we're taught continuous cursive handwriting, and fountain pens are especially good for that.
Lol I live in México and learn to write in continuos cursive then I change grade and they want me to write in a more regular way just let me tell you my writing is now awful 😭 Also sorry for the very bad english
When I was in sixth grade (back in the 90s, here in America), I was told that I'd have to keep using cursive handwriting, because it's all they used in college. You'll be hard-pressed to find anyone in college today using cursive handwriting. Not even the teachers use it much anymore. Cursive penmanship has become like a lost art here. 😑
We had to do this in junior school in England too! From year 3 - year 5 we had to use cartridge pens (like a fountain pen but with an ink cartridge you put inside instead of dipping the nib in ink) and then in year 6 we were allowed to be promoted to ball point pens 😂
I'm from india and kids are taught cursive most of the time. We were given fountain pens in grade 4-5 but all that happened is everybody's hands and uniforms became blue with ink 🤦♀️ Gel pens work just fine, it's a myth that you need to use fountain pens to have good handwriting
vanessa for some reason it’s a lot more expensive to buy pens with actual black ink and not a purpley looking ink. that’s why i spend more on pens because i need my jet black ink!!
Yeah I was pleasantly surprised by her handling. As someone who’s a bit more versed in pens than most it makes me cringe when I see people pick up a fountain pen and try to “flex” the nib. Not all metal nibs are flexible, most have little to no line variation so it’s not good for the pen at all. I’m really happy she didn’t do this.

This is so true (but like with mechanical pencils) I’d have theses really nice ones and I always keep a normal plain mechanical pencil in case someone asks for a one
Not trying to be a, like mood breaker. But as humans we'd rather hear things from people we've never met before, because it's a reaction of ours to enjoy new contact, so having no idea who wrote that and sent it to you, your going to have a better reaction to that, than you will to someone who you've known for years.

As a fountain pen nerd I can say with some certainty that most people’s handwriting improves when using fountain pens, as you need far less pressure to write. Also I am APPALLED at the fountain pen Maria is using, but that’s neither here or there, lol
With the glass pen you have to dip it into the ink further. All the way up the tip. The swirled grooves will then dispense the ink more evenly and it will actually write for quite a long time on a single dip. It definitely isn't as easy to use as a regular fountain or ballpoint pen, but once you get the hang of it they are really fun to write with.
In the 1700's and 1800's, writing that straight wouldve meant you came from a good "breed" 💀💀 I remeber reading that from this old book, about letter writing, and it was published in the 1800's i believe😂😂

Was looking through the comments for this one! I also thought this handwriting screams Russian. When I'm not specifically paying attention, mine is very similar. I guess it has to do with the handwriting exercises in primary school?
I agree! :D Actually most of Russian people have a very beautiful handwriting since they learn cyrillic alphabet first, and then they write latin letters very similarly to cyrillic cursive which is very specific.

I really appreciate how you change your tone in every video. It really bothers me how many asmr artists whisper in EVERY video or use the same tone in EVERY video or just end up doing the same thing over and over, but you go back and forth between whispering and soft spoken and I LOVE that
There's something so soothing about a nice pen. Sometimes I just sit and write random things with them because it's a satisfying feeling. And I have to say that blue pen is the the most gorgeous pen I've ever seen 😍

NIGHTIME CHECKLIST🧚♀️ •meds taken? •teeth brushed? •skin cleaned? •autoplay off? •using wifi not data? •water by your bed? •do not disturb on? •phone on silent? •charger in? •headphones in? •alarm set? then have a goodnight💞
For anyone looking to get into the hobby, fountain pens come in many styles, some easier to refill than others; you can choose from HUNDREDS of different inks, each with different properties (some dry faster/slower, some bleed more/less, some are iridescent!). They will also behave differently depending on what kind of paper you've got (you might find may fountain pen inks bleed if you're writing on cheap printer paper, for example, but nice Rhodia notebook papers receive the ink quite well). There's room for tons of customization and experimentation to get the perfect combination for you.
Not to mention all that means lots of temptations for your wallet. 😉. And don't forget the number of sizes and types of nibs, which also give your writing different qualities (as well as tempting you to buy more pens...).
Seeing the amazing patterns when she twirled the glass pen is the first time I’ve ever actually experienced ASMR from a visual trigger. That was absolutely mesmerizing.
I love the sectioning and obvious timestamps with the descriptions! Sometimes, I can only experience tingles when certain objects are tapped on. I think that the sectioning and obvious timestamps with descriptions create a much more efficient and enjoyable overall ASMR experience. This format also allows new members of the ASMR community to experiment and better identify which triggers really resonate with them. My favorite was when you wrote with the Cross Ballpoint Gel Pen. I also really like the message that you wrote down. It was so inspiring and insightful!
I think a video dedicated to a whisper reading of the angel cards would be amazing!! I loved the sounds it made when you went though them and the light sticky/tapping sounds they made when you were holding one.
I am working from home writing my PhD and it has been so hard and I have not been motivated at all. Your relaxing videos are brilliant to play in the background whilst writing as relaxing background noise AND to listen to after whilst chilling and letting my brain rest! Elizaveta Gluskova - Actuallyyyy.. most Western Europeans ( like we Italians for instance ) write like that..... and I promise their languages don't use a Cyrillic alphabet !
Martina Dinale I live in Germany and we also learned to write in cursive but if you look closely you can see that she even uses cyrillic letters instead of roman letters that are looking basically the same but you would not learn to write them that way in roman letters. I don’t know how you learn in Italy but I would wonder with some letters. But your language is more suitable for cursive tbh 😂
Fascinating post. Glass pen visually most tingly. Cross pen most satisfying for writing. Overall ASMR perfection. Your writing seems to be a mix of cursive and print. I've never seen anyone else who does that. I've seen some people use cursive for certain letters, but never an actual mix of both styles like you and I do. That's really cool :)

Leftis can use them too, you just have to write with your hand under the pen and not over on the page or just flip the page 90 degrees on the table. Being a lefty never stoped me writing 5h long essays in fountain pen in college :)

Can you teach yourself how to be double-handed (forgot the term for that) or is it genetic? I'm so tired of having a shimmery finish to my hands when using pencils and smudging my writing every damn time.

I gave a pen to my classmate on the first year at my university and he did not gave it to me back. Than 4 years later I forgot a pen and asked anyone for a pen. And guess what! This guy gave my MY pen that I gave him 4 years ago! And he thought that this pen belong to him! But it was my pen, cuz I order pens from japan and this one had print with pink bunnies

It Just Works well every leftie I’ve made have really neat handwriting for some reason. Is that actually a thing or is it just the lefties I’ve met?

I agree! :D Actually most of Russian people have a very beautiful handwriting since they learn cyrillic alphabet first, and then they write latin letters very similarly to cyrillic cursive which is very specific.

I really appreciate how you change your tone in every video. It really bothers me how many asmr artists whisper in EVERY video or use the same tone in EVERY video or just end up doing the same thing over and over, but you go back and forth between whispering and soft spoken and I LOVE that

For anyone looking to get into the hobby, fountain pens come in many styles, some easier to refill than others; you can choose from HUNDREDS of different inks, each with different properties (some dry faster/slower, some bleed more/less, some are iridescent!). They will also behave differently depending on what kind of paper you've got (you might find may fountain pen inks bleed if you're writing on cheap printer paper, for example, but nice Rhodia notebook papers receive the ink quite well). There's room for tons of customization and experimentation to get the perfect combination for you.
Not to mention all that means lots of temptations for your wallet. 😉. And don't forget the number of sizes and types of nibs, which also give your writing different qualities (as well as tempting you to buy more pens...).

I love the sectioning and obvious timestamps with the descriptions! Sometimes, I can only experience tingles when certain objects are tapped on. I think that the sectioning and obvious timestamps with descriptions create a much more efficient and enjoyable overall ASMR experience. This format also allows new members of the ASMR community to experiment and better identify which triggers really resonate with them.
My favorite was when you wrote with the Cross Ballpoint Gel Pen. I also really like the message that you wrote down. It was so inspiring and insightful!

Martina Dinale I live in Germany and we also learned to write in cursive but if you look closely you can see that she even uses cyrillic letters instead of roman letters that are looking basically the same but you would not learn to write them that way in roman letters. I don’t know how you learn in Italy but I would wonder with some letters. But your language is more suitable for cursive tbh 😂

Your writing seems to be a mix of cursive and print. I've never seen anyone else who does that. I've seen some people use cursive for certain letters, but never an actual mix of both styles like you and I do. That's really cool :)

Leftis can use them too, you just have to write with your hand under the pen and not over on the page or just flip the page 90 degrees on the table. Being a lefty never stoped me writing 5h long essays in fountain pen in college :)

Can you teach yourself how to be double-handed (forgot the term for that) or is it genetic? I'm so tired of having a shimmery finish to my hands when using pencils and smudging my writing every damn time.

Last week I gave a pencil to a boy, because he hadn’t one by himself. He promised to give it back to me.

I gave a pen to my classmate on the first year at my university and he did not gave it to me back. Than 4 years later I forgot a pen and asked anyone for a pen. And guess what! This guy gave my MY pen that I gave him 4 years ago! And he thought that this pen belong to him! But it was my pen, cuz I order pens from japan and this one had print with pink bunnies
