The legal decisions here seem to focus on semantics of intent rather than what really matters: CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS

The employee must be informed clearly. Not just by giving hints and clues that ended up with misunderstanding. They dont want to make it clear because they have personal interests. They want to take advantage like manipulating, bullying or to know your political stand for personal interests.

My home email address , personal phone was being monitored, it was hacked and pertinent emails was blocked. I was also being followed leaving work or leaving my house.

The question is and should be does the employer use surveillance methods across the board or are only select employees being targeted?? Productivity losses span every every corner of the workplace, but I think you'll find productivity of management is less important to track the than lower paid individuals. This is hypocrisy.

Wait so about 4:26, if I was bitching about my boss for an hour with co-workers BUT I end it with advice on how my boss can be a better boss, does that mean the WHOLE thing is protected?

if it is about productivity then, employees should get training in productivity techniques, maybe even a certification and then they can get their own software that only they monitor. The employer only needs to keep track of its goals and if these goals are being reached.

fast forward to 2018 an employer can legally record and video you while you are on the job without your knowledge or consent.. how can you prove that.. case in point: when you install a google or any app on your phone, or computer it asks you to consent to access to the microphone and camera.. even though neither you will be using.. you consent to this invasive intrusion..because it is your app.. but what if it is for every employee who works for you or the company who never signed on the line for such intrusion.. are their rights being violated?.. I need to know.. because our company has installed Ipads that I can guarntee record audio and video along with the badge number.. this is tracking and I DO NOT GIVE MY PERMISSION... OR I WILL SUE THE COMPANY... how do i tell them this does not cover my constitutional rights and makes me no more than an Indentured Servant!?

You have the right to quit your job. Showing up to your job and cashing your paychecks constitutes you giving your consent.
