- Yep, it's real. Samsung and Apple have officially signed an agreement in which Samsung Display will start supplying foldable panels to Apple.
It's uncertain at this point of the quantity of panels ordered, but we should know more in the coming months.

Hey John, thanks for another visit. I think it will cause an influx of interest in the Galaxy Fold line. How much though? No clue. But, I know a lot of folks on both the android and Apple side just don't take foldables serious yet. I think with Apple entering the game, it will help legitimize foldables more than they already are. Have a great weekend!

I think it's preferable to have high standards during development and take the time you need to finalize a great solution or product. It is not to wait for the competition to develop a great solution then buy it from them (and give it your own name like Retina). It is not good to become a company full of inspectors whose jobs are to ensure quality of what they cannot make themselves.
