  • Resetting your preferences to default settings in Adobe Photoshop 2022 can be done quickly on a Mac or PC.
    Within a few clicks, you can reset window dialogs and Photoshop settings, to create what will look like a fresh install.
    Resetting your workspace, whether using a preset or custom made workspace, is also easy. I explain both procedures in this quick tutorial for beginners.

    I can only see the 'Reset All Warning Dialogs' option. I can't see the 'Reset Preferences on Quit' option. How to fix this?

      A quick Google search showed that if you press Ctrl-K or Cmd-K, or open Settings through the menu, that setting is in the General tab. I hope this helps.

    I have win 10 and a desktop. My adobe photoshop cs 6 was working fine, but all of a sudden it id not work anymore. When I double click on it it will not open at all. I reinstalled it, and same thing.
    I thought it might be because of the directX, but it's not, I got all of them installed starting form directX 9 and up. Any suggestions?

      You may want to Google the issue. It’s possible that if you “open Finder-locate file-click get info-select open with”you may be able to change this.

    PLEASE HELP!
    I was having some problems with Photoshop 2022 v23.5.0 on my Mac Desktop, and reset my preferences, and NOW PS always opens on the "Default" Essentials window; I HATE THAT. How on Earth do I get this to open -- by default -- on the Photography Workspace, or even a workspace I have created and saved??? Nothing I have tried works. I've been using Photoshop for many years and never had this problem; it always used to open on the last used workspace. Thanks!By the way, this all started because Lightroom Classic refused to open images in "Edit in Photoshop 2022" (opened PS but not the image). Double trouble now.

    • @upgradecreate
      @upgradecreate  2 роки тому +1

      I would Google the specific issue you’re having. Photoshop would open the Essentials workspace if a new workspace has not been chosen. I hope that helps 🙂

      @AerialLensVideo 2 роки тому

      @@upgradecreate Got it Yay! Turns out, you can get the needed result by making changes to the Essential Workspace iteself. The changes (like unchecking "Suggestions" in the Window menu) will stick next time you open. NOT obvious.

      Unfortunately I’m not familiar with PS7’s features. I recommend Googling the issue and seeing if there is a possible solution.
