this is terrible from these muslims. what happened to the "Sunnah" of the Holy prophet [SA] about marriage?

There is nothing terrible in this. Marriage is supposed to be a happy event and what we saw in this video is HAPPINESS. I don't see or consider Islam as a religion of sadness, whereby people should always look "serious", stern or be stoic if you will. What was there in this video that was really evil or sinful ? The riches? the music? the way they were dressed ? or the presence of non- Muslims ? Nothing at all! Sometimes fellow Muslims are too quick to judge others based on form not essence.

saraman1231 we agree that Islam is not a 'sadness' religion. we also agree that Muhammad [sa] is the muslim we emulate, follow as soon as we learn how he did something we are doing or going to do. if we did it contrary to how he [sa] did it, we should feel something inside of us so that when next we do it, we follow his [sa] pattern. in islam, alcohol is prohibited. i didn't say wine or beer because some are non alcoholic. dresses should be at least islamic for both man and woman. music. i am not judgmental or rigid in my practices so i will not talk about muslim and non muslim here. i am just considering the islam of african since i am one from sub-sahara root. may Allah open our hearts, all together to follow His Guidance through the holy prophet [sa].

it seems to me that you are not a muslim because you think everything islamic is bedoiun or arab. this idea is wrong and when you have arabs, you are saying technically that you hate the prophet [SA]. any cultural nuisance that islam is against in totality should be rejected by sincere muslim. if it is rejected in part, sincere muslim should reject that part that islam reject. when women uncover what is to be covered or worse wear white gown that the church people wear, where is that truly islam. and i do live in the western country so this is not about envy. alhamdulIllah, i am much older and very comfortable so my statement is based on my suddenly coming across the video and upon watching it gave comment in sincerity that we all should give ourselves. what has passed has passed and our conversation here will not change it, but can benefit the fulanis and hausas you are raving about as if fulani in mauritania wear what you are talking about or the hausa of ghana admits to the same clothing of nigerian hausas.
clothing of islam is what should be seen worn by muslims. i wear jeans and all of the attires of the country i live, but it must cover what must be covered; aura.
